17 Operation: Friendship Goals (Part 3)

Eli didn't have an answer for Dai's question. He didn't know why he questioned himself like that before. Eli had never once doubted his King's orders, but he has a habit of doubting his own self, even when he's correct. Eli then realized that he wanted to talk to Trelawney about his self-worth. "I'm sorry, King Dai. I would rather speak to Trelawney." Eli politely excused himself from the conversation that he was Dai were having. Dai waved off his apology. He didn't see the need for Eli to apologize. Talking to one's significant other is not a sign of weakness, not at all.

Yu was in the same boat as Dai was in with Eli. Trelawney wanted to speak with Eli about her thoughts. Yu thought it was an awesome idea and she brought back Trelawney and Dai took Eli to the two people. Eli blushed at the sight of Trelawney, while Trelawney had a small rosy blush on her cheeks from the sight of Eli. How cute, both of them are blushing. Yu thought. She thought that the two of them were cute. Yu pushed Trelawney forward and Dai pushed Eli forward and Eli caught Trelawney before the young girl had fell onto the ground. Eli's bright eyes had gazed into even more bright eyes and they both turned away from each other. Yu and Dai walked off, hand-in-hand, leaving the new, but barely formed friendship alone with the two people that needed to talk to each other. "Hi." Eli cursed himself for sounding so awkward. He could barely even talk to the shy girl!

"H-hello." She greeted. Eli looked away, his cheeks red. Trelawney's cheeks were dusted with red as she turned away from Eli. Eli was tall, yet gentle and Trelawney founded herself liking that about Eli. Eli gazed down at Trelawney and he smiled at her. Trelawney was softly smiling at Eli. Even though she was shy, she could show her appreciation for kindness being shown to her.

Yu and Dai were watching the two interact and Yu sighed in relief at the awkward talk. "It may be awkward, but they're talking." She tells Dai. She was just glad that they could talk to each other.

Dai smiled at the two. He felt the same way that his wife did. They were talking to each other, even if they were embarrassed. It's rare to see Eli shy. He thought, switching his gaze to Trelawney. True to her nature, Trelawney was stuttering and blushing heavily. "Here you go." Eli had held out the blue flower that he had found before Dai had pushed him towards Trelawney.

"F-for me?" She asked. Eli had a heavy blush on his face, but he managed a smile and a nod.

"Y-yes. The flower reminded me of you because you're beautiful." Eli blurted out. Eli shut his mouth when he realized what he had said. Trelawney's eyes had widened in shock, but then, she smiled at Eli. She held out a piece of a meat that she helped Yu catch.

"Thank you. I have a piece of meat for you. I haven't seen you at lunch, so I figured that you would be hungry now." Trelawney says, hoping that she won't be rejected. The meat was taken from her gently and Eli ran a hand through her hair. Unknown to her, Eli was putting the blue flower in her hair. When Eli removed his hand, Trelawney had a puzzled look on her face while Eli had a look of both embarrassment and content.

Eli showed Trelawney her hair through a mirror and as a thank you, Trelawney hugs Eli, making him held onto her in shock. Eli fell back and Trelawney landed on his chest with his arms around her waist. Yu and Dai smiled at each other. "Something tells me that this will be a beautiful friendship." Yu tells Dai and he agreed with her.

Eli and Trelawney stared at each other and they were smiling smiles of content.
