Operation: Friendship Goals (Part 2)

While Yu was conversing with Trelawney, Dai was conversing with Eli. "Eli, what do you think about Trelawney?" Dai asked softly. Eli racked his brain to think, but all he could come up with was how cute she was and how sweet she was.

"She's cute and sweet." Eli admitted with a small blush on his face and Dai smiled knowingly.

"Does little Eli has a little crush on Trelawney?" Dai asked with a goofy smile on his face. Eli's blush turned heavier and he looked away from the Demon King.

"Yes, I do." Eli admitted after awhile. Dai was shocked at this. He knows that the male people of any race would have trouble admitting any romantic feelings for a woman, but here Eli was, admitting very easily that he is crushing on a young woman. Eli was thinking up ways to introduce himself to her without scaring Trelawney away from him. "King Dai, how did you approach Queen Yu?" Eli begged. Dai then turned serious to remember what exactly did he do to approach his wife.

"I was kind and gentle towards her. Because Trelawney is a lot skittish than Yu, you would have to a lot more gentler towards her." Dai explains to Eli. Eli then daydreamed about giving Trelawney flowers and he smiled at that. Dai smiled warmly at Eli. He really is crushing on the girl. He thought. Dai was glad that Eli was letting himself express romantic feelings for a girl. He felt that Trelawney was the one for Eli, but he didn't want to rush into things like his wife did. My dear, what are you up to? Dai could only think about Yu.

Dai started to explain something to Eli and Eli listened intently. However, Eli's face had turned bright red moments later as Eli felt that he had steam coming out of his ears. "King Dai, why?" Eli asked Dai. Dai smiled to remind Eli that he was being teasingly friendly.

"It was for your benefit to learn about that anyway." Dai tells Eli, who smiled shyly at him. Eli was still red at the thought of having Trelawney, but the thought had went away when Eli remembered something very important.

"Am I strong?" He asked Dai, who was confused by the sudden question. Dai gave Eli a soft smile.

"Of course you are strong." He answered Eli. Eli was grateful that Dai had answered him honestly. Eli could easily rest now, knowing his King was going to depend on him when trouble arrives on the scene. "Why the question, Eli? You're the most powerful commander I've ever had." Dai tells Eli. Eli didn't have an answer for what Dai had just told him and Dai knew that he had shocked Eli to his core with his words.
