Operation: Friendship Goals (Part 1)

Yu spend most of the day talking to both Trelawney and Eli at both separate times. Dai had known about the plan and he encouraged her to work through with it since they weren't going to leave anytime soon. Dai had sent out a scavenger and the demon came back with news of another war between two other races.

Dai didn't want to get into another war after just fighting in a war with the mages. Unlike what other races had accused him of, Dai cared about his army. His victories are only because of his army's perseverance and because he was a great king, the army happily fight wars alongside him.

Trelawney was with Dai as he was resting on his throne. Trelawney was sitting in front of him as she was letting him fix up her hair. Dai started to braid Trelawney's hair and as he did that, Yu came over to talk to the both of them. "Hey, Dai, can I borrow Trelawney for a moment?" Yu asked politely. She had noticed that the two were having a father-daughter quiet bonding moment and she hated to interrupt it, but she had to. Dai let Trelawney go to Yu and they went off someplace.

"What's this about, Mother?" Trelawney asked Yu, making Yu smile a very happy smile.

"You called me Mother!" She cheered out happily. Trelawney recognized her mistake and she blushed. She gazed down at the ground. She haven't mean for that to slip out the way it did. She probably thinks I'm weird. Trelawney thought. Yu then looked confused at Trelawney and she saw tears brimming in her eyes. Yu quickly hugged her. "Don't worry. I don't mind that you called me Mother. It's true, anyway. You're my daughter." Yu tells Trelawney. Trelawney smiled at Yu and Yu returned the smile.

"Okay, Mother." Trelawney relaxed into calling Yu Mother and she realized that it sounded right for the woman that saved her life. Yu decided to ask Trelawney her question.

"What do you think of Eli?" She asked. Trelawney froze at the question. She didn't know how to answer honestly, but when she gave Yu a sad look, Yu knew that her new daughter was just shy. Trelawney was only used to her and she was just getting used to Dai.

"He seems like a nice person." Trelawney answers honesty. Yu smiled at this. She is warming up to him little by little. Yu thought, smiling at the thought of Trelawney hanging out with Eli. She knew that Trelawney would find want to find companionship with Eli, but she didn't know how to go about it, so she decided to just be herself-shy and timid.
