40 Finding an Elder (Part 5)

Yu growled at Elder Aku and she rushed at the barrier again, intending on breaking it, no matter how many pieces her body will be in. Elder Aku knew that Yu would be very determined to get past the barrier, but her determination is stronger that he expected. "I'm not done! That barrier will be broken!" Yu shouted, rushing at the barrier once again. On pure instinct, Yu pulled out her sword and she forced her sword on the barrier. After a few seconds, the barrier had finally cracked, allowing Yu to gain access to Elder Aku.

She swung her sword at Elder Aku and he blocked it with his arm. She forced her sword down on the man's body and Elder Aku was forced to kick her away. The kick didn't hurt Yu much as Elder Aku held back his attack power. She grunted when the kick had landed on her body. She cursed as her new form started to disappear. She rushed at Elder Aku and she managed to hit him with her sword before her new form had disappeared entirely and she landed on the ground, panting for oxygen. "I...did...it. I hit you. Do I pass?" Yu asked, pulling up her head to gaze at Elder Aku.

"You insane girl, I would've trained you regardless." Elder Aku tells Yu, making her smile at her new mentor.

"Thank you, Old Man." Yu was polite as she laid her head back down to rest her exhausted body. Dai walked up to talk to Elder Aku.

"Can you train her in four years to wield that power willingly and skillfully?" Dai asked while bowing his head at Elder Aku. The army, Eli and Trelawney was shocked at this. Dai had never bowed to anyone before. Dai was polite, however. He knew that Elder Aku was a powerful whatever race he was, but Yu suspected that he was an Angel. She knew that other races existed, so she didn't want to pin a race onto Elder Aku.

"Of course, I'll train her to the best of my ability. That's my job as an Elder." Elder Aku tells Dai, who grinned at him. He finally found someone to train his lovely wife to be the best person and fighter she could be.

"With your help, she will be able to access her new powers with ease." Dai says, smiling at Elder Aku. He turned to Dai.

"Are you really putting that much trust in me?" He asked Dai. Dai nodded. He trusted both him and Yu. His lovely wife will be so powerful in four years. He couldn't wait for the four years to passed as he already couldn't wait to start his own training.

"You are strong and I know she is safe with you." Dai says, telling Elder Aku that he truly trusted him. The old man then beamed at the young man that was standing beside him.

"I'm glad you trust me." He responded, truly glad that Dai trust him with his wife. Dai then walked towards Yu and he helped her up.

"You are amazing, am I told you that?" Dai asked Yu after she had regained consciousness. Yu shook her head in the negative. "Then, I'm telling you now: You are amazing!" He grinned at Yu and Yu beamed back at him.

"Thanks, Dai." She responded weakly. She was still exhausted, but it was bearable after Dai helped her stand straight without her having to lean on him. She turned to Elder Aku. "Thank you for fighting me, Old Man." Yu thanked Elder Aku, who waved her thanks away. He knew that she was grateful after she had fainted after landing a hit on him. He had also noticed that she was very reliant on her powers, something that he wanted to change.

"You are welcome, Yu. I accept you as my apprentice." Elder Aku's words made Yu extremely happy as she cheered happily. "Be warned, however, my training is tough. Are you sure that you can handle it?" He questioned, wanting to know how she would answer. Yu thought about her answer carefully as she didn't want to say the wrong thing Elder Aku.

"My new motto is: Bring it on! Heck yeah, I can take it!" Yu shouted for everyone to hear, making everyone have their own worries disappear so they can train long and hard like their wife, Queen or Mother is doing. Yu gave everyone hope that the training trip will be a successful four year trip.

"That's all I wanted to hear." Elder Aku says, holding out his hand to shake with Yu. Yu shook his hand to be polite, but Elder Aku gazed into her eyes. "I see the fire in your eyes, youngster. Yes, you will make a fine apprentice." Elder Aku knew this as he now realizes that Yu will work towards her new goal to get stronger.
