Arrows of the Centaur (Part 7)

Dai and Yu didn't want to wake up their still sleeping army to investigate the sound that they had just heard and so, they went to investigate the sound themselves. They went further into the forest and what they found shocked Dai to his core. It was a Holy Sword that Dai had read about in a book about legends. It was Sword of the Angel, a Holy Sword that could only be wielded by a woman pure of heart. The sound was coming from the sword as the sword tingled when Yu walked up towards the sword. Dai stared at Yu and he gazed back at the sword. The sword is calling for its' rightful mistress. He thought. "Take it." He advises Yu. Yu gave a look that asked him 'was he crazy?' Dai gave her a comforting smile. "That Sword of the Angel can only be wielded by a woman pure of heart. You are pure of heart." Dai continues to talk to Yu to convince her to take the sword as her very first weapon besides her own body.

Yu sighed and she finally decided to just approached the sword. The sword's hilt was silver and the hilt had two angel wings on it and Yu grabbed the hilt in the middle; she grabbed it, directly under the angel wings. After she grabbed it, a shining white light covered Yu, making her close her eyes to embrace the warmth that the light was giving her. When she opened her eyes again, she could easily lift the sword into her hands. She placed the blade into her hand, being careful to not cut herself with the sword.

Dai chuckled at how easily the sword had accepted Yu. That means that he was right about Yu being an angel in human form. He then went back into his memories about reading the legend of the Sword of the Angel. He remembered that with the correct training, the Holy Angel and the Holy Knight forms can be achieved by the wielder of the Sword of the Angel. He decided to not tell Yu this as he was merely reading from a book of legends. The sword was real as he thought it would have been, but he knew nothing about the real thing as the legend could not have been told from someone who had the sword in the beginning of time.

Yu stared at Dai. "I can lift it." She was dumbfounded by the sword's easy weight. Dai chuckled at how confused Yu was looking. She looks adorable, gazing at me so confused. He thought, smiling.

"I have a idea. "Dai tells Yu, making her stand at attention. "Fight with me using the sword." He says, smiling widely. He couldn't have been more prouder of his wife for gaining a sword. However, he also couldn't been more prouder of his wife for giving him the angriest look that she had ever given him.

"Have you lost your mind?! This is a Holy Sword and you're a demon! If I touch you with this, you will burn!" Yu raged in worry for her husband. Dai could do nothing but to walk to Yu and placed his lips on hers. After he did that, her words had stopped flowing as she started to kiss him back. They both had closed their eyes and Yu wrapped her arms around Dai's neck. Dai could feel the Holy Sword, but to his shock, it wasn't burning him. Instead, it was surrounding him and Yu in light. Dai felt comforted by the light as did Yu.

This meant that the sword meant him no harm when Yu will fight against him with it. Dai was so proud of Yu. Yu went from a shy and scared wife to a wife that could fight on equal terms with him. He said the three words that he have always wanted to say since he had fell for her. "I love you, Yu. I loved you ever you got your scar." Dai spoke, giving Yu butterflies in her stomach. Yu knew that she had always loved Dai, ever since he had saved from another human being, she knew that she loved him.

"I loved you since the day you've saved me from that human that called me worthless. I loved you ever since the first day we've met." Yu reveals to Dai as they kissed again. They were still in the bright, white light, but it matter not to them because they had finally confessed to each other. They had finally progressed with their kisses. They had finally upgraded their relationship. They weren't afraid to reveal it to one another now. They both love each other. They both completed each other, weaknesses and strengths. They belonged to each other, forever and always.

They finally pulled apart and when they pulled apart, the white light had disappeared, giving them back to the area they had found the sword and the area where they stood was the area that Yu had pulled out the sword. "The sword is yours." Dai says, hugging Yu.

"It's mine. I still can't believe it, though." Yu responded, still in bliss from the kiss that Dai had gave her.

"Yes, we have another weapon now. But, before you can use it, you need training from an Elder." Dai reveals to Yu. Yu was thinking about that. An Elder is someone who can teach another person their way of style and how control a new weapon or form.

"But, to do that, we would have to be separated from the army for at least three years, maybe four at the most." Yu says, knowing how hard training with an Elder can be. Dai laid his forehead against his lovely wife's forehead.

"I know. I would have to tell the commander of the centaurs to wait until four years to give the war." Dai tells Yu. Yu smirked.

"We won't be the only ones training." Yu says, remembering how hard Eli and Trelawney were training. The army was training extremely hard as well and she couldn't wait to see their progress in four years.

"You're right. Everyone will be training. First thing's first. I'm going to convince the commander of the centaurs to fight the war in four years. Then, I can find you an Elder to teach you the ways of the Sword of the Angel. I'm still wanting to fight with you before then, so be ready." Dai playfully warns Yu.

"I'm always ready, my love." Yu tells Dai, swinging the sword behind her back to rest the weapon against her back.
