Arrows of the Centaur (Part 2)

"You did what?!" The commander of the centaurs shouted at the one centaur that had shot his arrow at Dai and the others. The centaur started to sweat profoundly. He was getting nervous as the commander rarely shouts, but now, he was being shouted at. He didn't whether to run away and cry or to stay there and cry. The commander rubbed his head and he glared at the centaur. "Kill him." His voice was cold. The centaur's eyes widen. Did he just stay kill? He thought in horror and he didn't fight back against the guards that grabbed him.

The guards walked him to a machine that was so merciless and brutal. The machine had a blade just hanging on the top of the machine. The centaur gasped in shock. He didn't want to die like this! He did't want to die at all! As he stared at the guillotine, fear began to show on his face. He didn't dare attempt to galloped away from his captors. They placed his head directly under the blade and in a quick moment, the blade suspended and had detached his head from his body.

The centaur's head fell with a sickening sound as it fell onto the ground. The commander didn't do the centaur any justice when he stomped on the head of the beheaded creature, revealing the head's contents. The commander heard the screams of horror from the female and children centaurs and he glared at them. "This is a warning to those of you that want to be a big shot." He growled at them. They quickly scampered away, not wanting to anger him any further.

The headless centaur had fell from the guillotine and was now just laying on the side. The commander left, not noticing that the headless centaur had twitched.

With Dai and the others, Dai was pacing back and forth trying to find a suitable idea that wouldn't get them all killed. He then realized that to do that, he would have to master Hellfire Mode, but that was the reason why he slept for so damn long in the first place! The second time he used it, it was up to Yu to lead the army. Dai knew that Yu could lead the army extremely well, but he still left her alone because he was knocked out cold.

He growled to himself. "Dai, dear, you can do this. I believe you can master Hellfire Mode this time around." Yu tells Dai. Dai looked at Yu in shock.

"Why do you have so much faith in me?" Dai asked, holding Yu by her waist gently. Yu giggled at his question, but she was willing to answer him, nevertheless.

"I believe you are my husband, even if we haven't made it official yet. There's a thing called third's time the charm." Yu tells Dai, making him smile at her.

"You really mean that?" He asked.

"I always have." Came her sweet response. Dai smiled. She is my sweet wife. He thought.
