The Demon King's First General

Read at least six chapters, then prepare to crave the rest. The main character will show up in Chapter Five, though I don't recommend skipping the first four chapters. ----- The world was celebrating. The Demon King was dead, along with his Darkness Generals. Humans led the other races to war for subjugation. They killed all, and none were spared. However, thousands of years before this happened, a piece of history was altered by time itself.  In fact, the Demon King didn't have four generals but only one, which he sealed and sent into eternal slumber. Just as he started to close his eyes, the chains locked away for eternity shattered into pieces.

Book of Necronomicon

"You really like to play with water, huh?" Zeno said while staring at the woman who was taking a bath in a pond inside a forest.

She was paddling while gesturing for the demon sitting above a tree branch to come and join her.

"Soaking your body underneath feels so nice," the woman answered.

Then she lied down on the surface of the water and remained motionless for a second before her feet and hands began to make little movements.

"Zeno? Why do you think water is the most deemed useless element?" She asked while staring at the blue sky above.

Upon hearing her, Zeno leaped down from the tree and walked a little closer to the pond.

"Seriously? I never thought that water was useless. Underestimated? Yes!" Zeno replied.

The woman laughed at the demon's answer, and she spoke again.

"I got it, then let me rephrase my question: why do you think it is the most underrated element?" She said.
