No Plan

She walked out of the the bathroom while drying her hair. She had never felt as relaxed as she had been the past couple of days, the eyesore that was, Izan left a couple of days ago.

She didn't expect a response from him but it'd taken way too long already, two weeks was long enough, right?

Her patience didn't last that long, and as much she was happy that he was not there bothering her conscious, she wasn't impressed by the silence.

He had promised to at least send a letter or something but so far nothing.

A knock resounded from the door of her room.

"Here is all you need, it's a two day long journey but if you're fast enough you'll be there by mid-day tomorrow" Lexy smiled reassuringly.

.

Luckily Neera had made a friend at the sanctuary. She was nice, generally everyone was nice, but her niceness was on another level. She spoke less than fifteen words in a day but she was very welcoming.

She was too good to be true at some point, Neera thought.

"Thank you Lexy" Neera smiled at her picking up the bag to weigh it's weight only to be surprised.

"Woah! It's light, are you sure you put everything in here"

"Positive, I never make mistakes" the smile never left Lexy's lips.

"Thanks, I should go now" Neera was ready to go now. If she were to go and find death ahead, then she would just face it.

Leaving the room, Lexy escorted her to the backdoor of the sanctuary.

"Wait, I'll come to look for you if you don't come back in a week" Lexy said, the smile absent from her face.

Neera smiled reassuringly, "You don't need to, I'll be just fine"

"Are you sure?"

Neera just shook her head not uttering a word.

"See you in a week or less, depending on how much I miss you" the last words brought a smile on both of their faces.

"Bye"

That feeling when you feel danger is ahead of you but you still walk towards it like some lost puppy.

That is what she felt as she approached the castle. She could see smoke coming from the inside of the castle, the castle guards were lined all around the parapet of the castle wall.

She crawled her way closer to the wall, hiding among the bushes.

Why was security so tight?

Last time things weren't like this, but that was a month ago. She knew nothing about what was happening behind that wall and the whereabouts of Izan.

Luck was on her side since she had a map with her. Lexy stole one from the sanctuary and it was the original draft.

With this she could even know where the secret rooms, doors and passages were. Pure luck.

She had memorized the map and was now heading for a small passage way that would lead her to the dungeon's of the castle.

They weren't necessarily underground but neither were they above land. The structure on the map was something she wasn't able to comprehend.

She opened the small metal door and crawled inside, it was stuffy and cobwebs were almost everywhere and it wasn't really helping since she was terrified of spiders.

She crawled as fast as she could and was finally met by a door. At least now she would be standing upright.

She peeked through the crevices but all she saw was pure darkness. Urging herself further she followed her memory through the passage ways.

Listening she could hear talking from a distance. She followed the sound but was careful not to make noise and get herself caught.

She'd come to far to get caught. That just wasn't a viable option.

Someone was talking some distance from her location, a guard to be precise. He was announcing something about a match.

The words got clearer the more she approached, "-today it's going to be Buffalo and Lionel, let's go,"

Alot of grunting and talking followed.

"You stay back today-"

"Why?" the female voice asked weakly. The fact that she still wanted to go wherever they were going while she sounded like an almost dying dog was truly astounding.

"You know what happened last time, stay back!" then the woman was gone.

A sigh followed that then sobbing followed. Neera peeked between the crevices between the wood and metal grills.

Her hair was covering her face but the clothes gave her away, Adelle.

"Hey" Neera whispered so she could hear. She was one cell away from Adelle so she needed to be louder than she actually wanted to.

Addle's features wrinkled in alarm. She was dirty and she actually looked skinnier than she normally was. "Who's there?" Adelle crawled to the back of her cell.

"It's me"

Adelle chuckled hysterically then silence then a loud sigh and finally spoke, "I've been here for so long that I'm hearing things already"

Neera pitied her, a month in a cell along with other sicko's. "Hey, you're not hearing things, it's the princess who was-"

"Wait, there's actually someone" Adelle crawled and held onto the bars of her cell with her thin fingers.

"Do you remember me?" Neera whispered back.

"I remember your voice, white princess"

Neera's brow's furrowed in confusion.

White Princess!?

"Wh-" she paused at that because she didn't have the time start questioning nicknames, "do you know where Izan is?"

"Up there with Whitney or whoever, do you something I can eat?"

"Yeah, where up there?"

"You can't find him princess but he is in his room and he's under tight security"

Taking out a left over sandwiches she wrapped them with a cloth and pushed them with a stick till they reached Adelle.

"Thanks, if you want to find him you should go now, at night he'll be with- no, he'll be busy"

"Ok, I'll be back for you, just wait a little longer" Neera was ready to leave.

"Wait! Do you have a plan?"

"Yes" No!. She was clueless about she was doing but once she found Izan she'd think of something.

"You don't, do you?" Adelle chuckled pitifully but continued,"Helpful facts, don't get caught you've already made me a promise make sure you're not in the castle at night and lastly meet me here, again tomorrow"

"Why can't I be at the castle at night?"

"Because Lionel will be patrolling, if you get caught by him, you're dead meat"

"Who is-" noise from the entrance disrupted her, the prisoners were back.

"They're back, go now and do what I just said" Adelle started singing loudly right after that.

Neera ran through the tunnels as quick as she could. At some point the passages were thin, she went up and peeked to see on what floor she was at.

"How about one last time Izan?"

All her attention was drawn to the voice and the mention of Izan.
