Chapter 16 |Facing one's fear |

A flame filled sword fell down on Kryll who could only watch it hit on him. He was too slow to dodge and the hit left a huge mark on his back.

When a second swing was done, Kryll disappeared right in front of Mira and her master.

The development surprised Xu Ling for she knew she had sealed the space.

As she sends out her Divine sense no trace of the boy was found. She quickly arrived at where Mira was situated and looked at the formation engraved.

At a glance she could tell that the formation was exquisitely build.

But the formation was made only for a one way trip which made her unable to activate it anymore.

Aside from the formation, a message was left saying.

"I won't cause any problems for you humans if you won't find trouble with my students."

'Interesting.'

Xu ling quietly chuckled to herself and took Mira away with her.

"Mira, tell me, do you know each other?"

Xu ling asked.

"No master, I'll never associate myself with the likes of those demons. They took away the peace and family I had. I'll not rest till I eradicate each one of them."

Seeing her resolution Xu ling decided it would be a waste of time to tell her.

She was spectating the battle just now, so she could tell that Kryll had first set up an attack array but later changed his minds and create a second array while sealing the first.

He had done all of this in a split second which makes her doubt if he really was dangerous or not.

Maybe he just wants his disciples to actually live peacefully, or he actually has a malicious intent.

The next day...

A'lo and A'ting came back to the Imperial city on orders from their master.

They were scared, Kryll had even specified that they visit Mira and hand her a gift.

"A'ting do you have any idea why master is sending us to the lions mouth?"

A'ting looked at him and said,

"Don't act dumb A'lo, you placed all the master spirit herbs on the gambling and as we didn't won the match, master would obviously be angry."

Soon the two arrived at the gate nervously. Now that they had caused quite the commotion last night they thought they would be arrested as soon as they made an appearance.

A Natal realm expert and a crippled guy, walking together, making their way to the capital.

Mira saw them but didn't attack yet on account of her teacher.

When Xu ling saw the two bravely marching in the city she couldn't help but feel amused at Kryll.

She didn't understand why he had such immense hope his two students won't be harmed.

Shortly after, the two arrived at the gate of the princess Palace.

Mira went and met them on command of her master.

"What brings you here disciples of the demon."

The two twins nearly felt their heart jump out hearing that voice.

The two had been clearly traumatized by the girl in front of them.
