Chapter 4

The three were broken from their daze as Dominus continued speaking. "Hm. Your current progress is quite commendable, Erea, but as to how far you can go... We'll have to see."

She gulped and nodded as Dominus gazed at Samuel sternly. "You may have trained her well in terms of overall combat prowess and skill but she lacks one of the most important of things. Experience. If you think the battle against that Abyss Walker is enough, then you, are incredibly mistaken.

Erea shivered as she recalled how she and her friends battled against the Abyss Walker which led a massive army of Abyssal Spawn, mindless, powerful beings that only did their master's will.

Abyss Walkers were the same, albeit with at the least, a human level of intelligence.

What Dominus said next made everyone sweat. "That Abyss Walker was young and weak. There are ninety nine more of those. Their creator, Nadir is far more powerful than they are and have the ability to kill all one hundred in under five minutes."

"Now, Third, you are talented. Very much so, and that I can reaffirm, but..." Dominus stopped and a tiny dragon head peeked out of his cloak.

Draco perched himself on Dominus' shoulder. "You act too rashly and always charge into the fray, even with a plan. You don't even so much as think of making a backup plan now, do you?"

Erea was crying, attempting to hold her laughter back. Arta was already rolling on the floor while laughing and the other three? They were trembling. Trembling in utter fear while sending Arta their killing intent.

Draco gave Erea and Arta a furious gaze, ignoring the Third, who had a poker face on, turning red from holding his laughter back. "You think my voice is funny!? YOU THINK MY VOICE IS FUNNY!? HUH!?"

Draco flew out of the window and began growing, larger and larger.

His height over 20 meters, Draco was clearly terrifying. "HOW ABOUT NOW!? IS MY VOICE STILL FUNNY!? HUH, YOU BRATS!?"

His voice sounded as if it were a demon from the depths of Hell speaking and not the cute tiny dragon from earlier. Erea yelped, Third was glad he didn't laugh and Arta ran to a corner, sweating.

Draco reverted to his original size and hid inside Dominus' cloak, causing his scarf to fall, thus revealing his face.

Third, Erea and Arta only had one thought. 'How could such a handsome man exist!? The hell!!'

Dominus mused at their faces and pulled his scarf back up. "Anyways, Third. You have our approval, for now at least. For now. " Dominus turned to leave with this one thought in his mind. 'I wonder if you can keep it that way, however.'

Dominus exploded into dust allowing Second, Vanessa and Samuel continue breathing normally. Third, Erea and Arta were busy trying to understand what just happened and Rett had a smile on his face.

First began laughing, laughing to the point where everyone in the palace could hear his voice. Only now did they notice that the sun was setting, the moon was rising and that the stars were appearing.

.....................

The stars glisten, the moon shines and the campfires blaze, providing light to the encampment. There were two hundred and fifty one tents, each housing two people, only if they hadn"t been taking turns keeping watch.

In the middle of the encampment was black carriage, decorated with gold and had red curtains. Inside it was massive, the size of what you would expect a bedroom of royalty would look like. Inside were two beautiful women, one clearly more beautiful than the other.

The first wore what you would call a cliched maid outfit. She had long black hair done into two pigtails, her emerald green eyes, the light reflecting off her transparent glasses. She held a towel in her arms as she watched the figure before her.

This figure held a black, blunt sword made of lead, practicing on a metal, humanoid dummy. She had short blonde hair done into a braid and ponytail, her amethyst pendant complimenting her deep violet eyes. She was the younger, more beautiful one, although her curves were quite developed, those lost to the other woman.

She finished her practice and began wiping herself clean. "Airah, after we set off tomorrow, how much longer will it take before we reach Einthore?" Asked the younger woman after she returned the towel. "Our journey should take five more hours m'lady." Airah fixed her glasses as she responded, her voice was kind, but it had a know-it-all kind of tone to it.

Mordreda nodded. The maid was Airah, her best friend, bodyguard and personal servant. She replied as she began taking her clothes off. "So my routine won't be broken. It's good to know I can still practice Mana Control and Mana Enhancement." This was when they felt a familiar mana signature forming inside the carriage, not sensed by those outside. After all, anyone who could peek inside or teleport inside must be very powerful for this world's standards. This was when Mordreda realized who it was.

Moral lesson of the chapter, don't mess with Draco. Oh and tell me if you guys like this way of writing better.
