4 Chapter 3

"So then, First, the question now is... Would you accept it?" Asked Dominus in a flat voice added to his face suddenly turning solemn and serious. First swallowed his saliva before pondering for a minute or two.

"I get the feeling I know what that orb of light is, but just to confirm, is it... 'That'?" Asked First in a trembling voice, his face filled with excitement. Replying while nodding, Dominus spoke in a serious voice. "Eternal Youth, First. Eternal Youth. So, will you take my offer? You know that not only will you return to your prime, you will also stay like that and never age unless someone were to use a withering spell or time spell to force your body to age, well, that is unless you gain enough power so that you won't need this."

First sighed. "Just like you said. Unless I gain enough power, shame I don't think I can reach that level, and I won't regain my youth even if I reach that level, it's just that I'll no longer age."

He closed his eyes for a moment before standing up straight. "As much as I don't want to accept such a thing because of my pride, it would not only be a waste, but also stupid of me not to accept. So, I guess that makes my decision clear?" Said First with a grim smile.

Dominus opened the lid and the white orb slowly floated towards First, who in turn walked towards the slow floating orb and reached out with his left hand. He stared intently at the bright glowing orb floating above his palm before clenching his fist.

A massive amount of energy exploded forth from First's body, creating an aura of immense power around his body, which was felt by everyone in the Capital and surrounding areas. Rett was in awe as the immense power could be felt by him very clearly as he wasn't even two feet away from First.

Dominus was standing still, a smile on his face as if saying "Congratulations, my friend. You gained more than what I intended to give you."

First felt strength returning to his body, the strength of his youth. He no longer had any problems standing and staying upright and felt his body full of vigor. He also gained more power as time went on and this went on for three minutes. Three entire minutes.

Second, Samuel and Vanessa waited in anticipation as they had some idea on what was going on, at least, they understood that the power that was released earlier was First's, unlike Third and Erea who were panicking in fear, wondering what the hell could have that much power.

The group stood right before the door. They were in total, six. Why six? Because of Arta who was also with Third. And that was when the mass release of energy ended. Second slowly put his hand on the doorknob, excitement on his face.

When they entered, shock was evident on their faces. Why is there a dishevelled clone of Second here!? And why is he wearing the remnants of First's clothes!? This. This was the question in their minds as they soon heard boisterous laughter coming from Rett and First.

"Don't tell me... Father!? Is that you!? No, it is you! How!?" Asked Second, shock filling his face. First had a huge grin on his face. He pointed towards Dominus who was leaning on a wall at the side, causing them not to notice him. "Why don't you ask your teacher?"

They all tilted their heads to find an incredibly handsome young man with golden blonde hair, sapphire blue eyes and a slight smile on his face, his beard, a small goatee, his scarlet cloak releasing a sense of power, just like his scarf. Second, Samuel and Vanessa immediately recognized him and shouted simultaneously. "Old man!" "Master!" "Teacher!"

Dominus, annoyed, teleported in front of Second and sent a punch flying down onto his head. "Who the f*** are you calling old man!? Do I look old to you!?" Second put his hands over the bump forming on the top of his head, and shouted, attempting to reason with the fairly unreasonable Dominus. "Why wouldn't I call you, someone that's who knows how many million years old, an old man!?" Dominus, deciding to retaliate for fun, sent a reverse roundhouse kick towards Second's face, who in turn, failed to avoid it and was sent flying to a wall.

The trio, namely Third, Erea and Arta were terrified, knowing that their father really was trying to guard against that kick yet wasn't able to! What's more, they soon understood that what their father said was true as Dominus said in a fairly annoyed tone. "Keh. I never should have told you my age."

Dominus turned to look at Samuel with a serious and highly strict face. Samuel, understanding that he was lacking put his head down, awaiting for the harsh words which would come next.

"Samuel. Not only have you grown far more skilled and slightly more powerful, but you've gained a lot more experience and have even found your path. But. I said slightly more powerful. Slightly. You did exceed my expectations by finding your path but your lack of power disappoints me." Erea was shocked as she had never seen her teacher being put down like this. Let alone now, with him bowing in shame!

"Vanessa. You too." Vanessa trembled slightly and bit her lip. "You've gained more than sufficient power and have found your path, the problem being that your skills aren't on the standard I set." She nodded as Dominus, who had finished reprimanding her, turned to Second who was slumped on the floor.

"You reached my standard in both skill and power, have found your path and are fulfilling your duties properly. However, you're still incapable of defending yourself properly!" Now all three were shocked as Arta, never would have thought that the might King and Queen would be spoken to like this and the two siblings never knew that their parents were actually lacking! They just thought that their parents need more time to gain more power!
