Chapter 4: Part two

Continued...

Sia rolled her eyes at her, "I want the White one. Anyway, as I was saying, I was buying the 'greasy' sandwich and Max told me about it. He said he and his daughters went too and they had a blast. You know he talked about some spooky gypsy stall there too."

"Which white dress? Come on! Now your bringing gypsies into it too? Those people are a complete fake. And Just because some Asian dude told you he had a blast with his daughters who are probably 9 and 10 years old, you wanna miss the party of a century?!"

Sia walked in the closest and brought out the white dress she was talking about, which earned an approving nod from Teresa.

"Brad, that damn fit-ass trainer from channel 1 morning show, is also gonna be there. I know you have a crush on him." Teresa winked at her. Knowing if she mentioned him, Sia wont be able to resist.

"First of, Max is not Asian, he is Mexican and he makes great sandwiches. And No I don't know what you're talking about." Sia looked away refusing to admit.

"Oh please darling, you wake up at 7 o' clock only on Mondays, and turn on the TV like a ritual, because that is when his segment is on. Don't think I don't notice." Teresa gave her attitude before dragging her to the floor length mirror with her to checkout their dresses.

"Red does look nice on you, blondie, totally compliments your skin. Since you are insisting so much, can we go to the party a little later-"

Teresa looked like she was about to object but Sia beat her to it and continued. "-I know I know, we should go socialize more and I kinda do wanna me that hot as hell trainer, but it's the last day of the carnival and these things usually wind up before night fall."

Huffing Teresa thought a little before, replying, "Well I was thinking of being a little fashionably late myself..."

"Yes! I am sure you're not gonna regret this, T. I have a hunch it is absolutely gonna be life changing for us." Sia rejoiced jumping in her place.

"We are going in the dresses by the way, so even if we are late, we can arrive at the venue directly. And are you telling me now you're having hunches about meaningless carnivals too. Si, are you becoming a psychic... in a kid's TV show?" Teresa dismissed her best friend who was acting childish just to convince her.

"You just love to dampen the fun, don't you? Who goes to carnivals in cocktail dresses, we'll be a spectacle there!"

"I don't care, it's you who wants to go so bad. So take the deal or forget about it."

"Fine! By the way my hunches are always on point. Remember that time when I took us to that food market in Seoul and we accidently met our bias idol." Sia tried defending her hunches.

"-He was just sitting there munching on some rice cakes! Oh how can I forget that day was the best day of my life." Teresa looked dreamy eyes as the both recalled the time together.

"However, that encounter was nothing less of miserable awkwardness. He didn't speak a wink of english and all we ever learned from k dramas was khanmsamida. It was mortifying for all of us." Teresa brought back the bad side of the memory taking them out of their reverie.

"Oh I forgot about that part." Sia admitted with a sour face.

"You also forgot about the part where I was the one who took us to Korea instead of Japan. If we didn't go to the country, you wouldn't have taken us to that market and we wouldn't meet our crush. So indirectly it was my hunch; i knew I was a psychic all along. " Teresa seemed proud making that far fetched connection.

"I hate to break it to you, princess; it was less of a hunch and more to do with daddy's money." Sia quipped which landed her with a pillow to her face by Teresa.

Teresa always reacts out when Sia jokes about her being a rich bitch and even she knows her friend joking but it doesn't stop her from hating it.

"Oh yeah? What about that time when I wanted us to take Korean for language but you insisted on us opting for Spanish. Now how many times have we used our skills in Spanish? Never! it never comes in handy."

Sia threw the pillow back at Teresa who caught it effortlessly with her long slender arms.

"So perhaps, I was wrong about just that. But believe me I really felt like being able to speak and read Spanish would be an asset. I don't know what went wrong, now all I use it for, is to order my sandwich." Sia looked in thought before Teresa threw another dress at her.

"I'll tell you... signora, mi amor." Teresa twirled her way to grab Sia by her arm making her twirl with him.

The girls giggled having silly fun before they needed to get off for the carnival if they didn't want to be late for the party later that night.
