33 My Guardian Angels...

Alexa wakes up after taking a long nap and finds Zoe missing from her side. She quickly fix her hair in a high bun and walks out of the room and gets surprise to see the darkness in the hall. "How long did I sleep" she whispers to herself while switching on the hall light and search for Sasha to get info about Zoe. She search kitchen, followed by other bedroom on the upstairs then to all the bathrooms in the house and finally finds her on the swing on the roof. "There you are" Alexa smiles and hug Sasha from back leaning on her shoulder, Sasha smiles back while lifting her head. "Did you sleep well, you were sleeping like a baby thus didn't disturb you. Zoe woke up and thus Reo left with him. I did asked him if need to wake you up but he rejected. All well between you too, he sounded a bit low and different from what he was in afternoon when he first came in"

Alexa releases her grip from Sasha's shoulder and walks towards her before grabbing the next place on the swing "Yeah all ok and thanks to you to let me sleep. I think it was much-needed. My body and mind are so relaxed now"

"By the way, Yie called up on your mobile when you were sleeping and I informed him the same. He has asked me to make you stay with me for the night as they are going to some pub for party"

"How the hell they are partying without me" Alexa tries to dial Yie's number but Sasha snatches her phone.

"I think Susan has asked Yie for some fun and thus they both have gone out, probably a date. Don't disturb him"

"Oh...So it's Susan's plan. Then fine" Alexa stops speaking as Sasha gets a call on her phone. Sasha excuses herself and walks away from her to a corner on the roof leaving Alexa alone on the swing.

Alexa lies back on the swing and stares at the dark sky which now filled with countless stars. The calmness of the night and cool breeze gives her a little chill making her shiver. She calms her goosebumps on her hands and grabs the scarf which was on the table to wrap around her shoulder and get back to the same position before dozing off in an open dream. She starts speaking to herself about her life but inside her heart.

"Mom and Dad, I miss you a lot today. You know if you were here my life must have been so different. I must not have been forced to marry that heartless guy who tortured me every day and took my soul and crushed my heart so badly. I took every beating and curse from him and his family only for the sake of granny and grandpa. Mom and Dad, wish I was with you on that day and died with you. That have been so better than living like this. I am not blaming granny and grandpa, they have done all they could for me but my fate was much stronger than their prayers and my good luck. I am blessed with bad luck Mom" Tears starts forming in her eyes as she continued to think further.

"After surviving for six whole months I finally found strength to speak up for myself and tell grandpa about the torture given by him and his parents. It took me so long to come out of that trauma and pursue my dream of becoming Singer. That was the best decision of my life as I found a new family in Xia Music Academy, Yie was my first friend and soon became my bestie. You know Dad, he takes a very good care of me, I wish he was my real brother. I sometime feels like you have sent him to take care of me. Mom you know he feeds me same like you when I am unwell and Dad he carries me on his back when I am tired same like you use to do when I use to throw tantrums while coming back from school. I miss you guys a lot. The day I came to New York, I was very scared specially during the first flight, but that kid Zoe helped me a lot to forget all my fears. His innocent smile some how touched me. Mom, if things were good I must have a kid of same age right? I thought will never meet him again but knowing he is the son of my boss made me jump due to surprise. You know Mom, Reo is very charming and handsome guy. I am a divorce and never felt anything for any guy after my heart-break but Reo was the first person to make my heart beat again. I somehow started liking him but couldn't understand his weird behavior towards me. The day he took me to his home and the night we sat together to have coffee was the best days with him. I wish he has not done what he did that night ruining all the things between us. He repeated the same things which that guy use to do. Everything was same the alcohol, the grip, the roughness in touch. I felt him on my body again. It took me so long to come out of the trauma but Reo's one step took me back to where I was. Mom, why did he did that. Why did he break my heart. How am I suppose to forgive him. I know my heart is in pain with both the feelings. I can't forgive him and at the same time I can't help myself falling for him. Mom and Dad, please help me. I need you advice to choose the best for me. I miss you guys a lot."

Alexa saw a couple standing next to her dressed in all white as if they were Angels. After rubbing her eyes for couple of times she screamed "Mom and Dad, you guys finally came" She was about to hug them but her Mom stops her. "Angel, don't touch us. We are very far from you. We are sorry my child to leave you all alone and make you face all these. Me and your Dad have been with you and will be with you ever. I never knew my Angel is so strong to tackle all the roughness in her life"

Alexa starts crying after seeing the same faces of her Mom and Dad standing in front of her after so many years, hearing them talk to her made her go weak on her legs, her body was feeling so weak and was about to fall in any second but she holds her up just to listen to them.

"Angel, I know you have been threw a lot and we are so sorry that we weren't there to help you. I know you have got some very good people around you. We came here today as could see you standing in middle of your life puzzle. Life is like that my doll. It gives you a taste of every thing. Some gets it early and some in later stage, but trust me every one faces it. You have been threw a lot in your early stage and be rest assured, the coming days and life will be all opposite to what you have faced. Just remember one thing, "Never judge anyone with their first action, you never know what they have been threw. Give them some time and try to understand them, may be even they are as broken as you and just need a hand to hold up". You are very cleaver and I am sure you will give him another chance, not for him but for you. Some times we forget to see the good in others and move away from them because of some misunderstanding, it's a human mentality which don't allow one to get to see the other side of a situation or person and assumes things based on the actions from the person making them lose or move far away from each other. Don't ever do such mistake my child"

"Your Mom and me will always be there with you as your Guardian Angel. We both love you my child." Her mom and dad starts disappearing after saying the words and Alexa stretches her hand out to catch them. She sees her Mom and Dad waving at her with the same smile on their face which she remembers as a child.

She opens her eyes and finds herself full in tears. She gets up while wiping her tears and thinking the words her mom and dad said just now. "May be I should give him a chance to prove. Mom and Dad please be with me. And I love you too"

Alexa walks down to the hall and calms herself by drinking a glass of water.
