"Stop it," Li Jordan interrupted the twins' playfulness and turned to Albert, asking, "Can you fix it?"

"It's hard to say. We won't know until we try," Albert replied as he stuffed Yuri's Biography into his backpack. He looked at the bickering twins and reminded them, "If we can't fix this book, there's no need to return it."

"Why?" George asked, his face filled with surprise.

"Need I say more? With your behavior, if Madame Pince finds out, she won't let you back into the library again," Albert said irritably. "Not returning the book means you won't be able to borrow any more books from the library."

Many of the homework assignments given by the professors at Hogwarts required students to find information in the library. If they were banned from entering the library, it was obvious that they wouldn't be able to complete their homework properly.

"Oh, by the way, you haven't finished your History of Magic assignment yet, and it's due tomorrow," Albert casually reminded them. "Don't forget about it."

"Ah! Don't mention it!"

The three of them suddenly remembered the assignment and let out a collective groan. They hurriedly returned to the library to continue their boring homework.

Albert watched their retreating figures and shook his head imperceptibly. He glanced at the so-called treasure map in his hand and turned back towards the Gryffindor dormitory.

"I actually failed?"

The damaged page in Yuri's Biography was not repaired by the mending spell.

At first, Albert thought his spell had failed, but he tried it on other pieces of paper and found that he could still successfully repair them. But... why did he fail when trying to repair this book?

"I just can't understand it," Albert muttered softly as he stared at the book in front of him. He picked up the book, carefully flipping through it, trying to find something different about it.

Yuri's Biography was written by Radolphus Pitman, and Albert had read it a while ago. Yuri was from Ravenclaw House, and his behavior was very peculiar. In commemoration of his strange behavior, people published his biography as a short story on Chocolate Frog cards.

According to the book, Yuri's own behavior was indeed strange.

Moreover, there was a time when Yuri tried to prove that the screech of a Fwooper bird was beneficial to human health. He listened to the screeching of Fwoopers for three consecutive months... It was well-known that the constant chirping of Fwooper birds could drive people insane.

There was nothing particularly special about this book, but Albert still couldn't understand why the spell failed.

He placed the book on top of his cabinet and suddenly remembered something. He took out the piece of parchment from his pocket and stared at it for a long time, intending to put it back into the book.

However, Albert's hand paused, and he pulled out his wand from his pocket. He lightly tapped the parchment and said, "Reveal your secrets!"

Nothing happened?

"Well, it seems like I was just overthinking," Albert said, picking up the parchment and looking at its contents, falling into a momentary silence.

"Indeed, spending too much time with Fred and the others, I've become a bit silly myself," Albert chuckled self-deprecatingly, stuffing the parchment back into the book, and leaving the dormitory.

Little did he know that as soon as he left, the parchment that had been placed back into the book underwent subtle changes.

As Albert entered the common room, he noticed someone waving at him.

"Anderson," the person who called out to him was a big girl standing confidently in front of Albert.

"Is there something?" Albert, who was already considered tall among children his age, still looked half a head shorter compared to the girl in front of him.

"I've been looking for you for a while now," the girl said with a hint of annoyance. "Here, your letter."

"Letter?" Albert looked puzzled but still accepted the note handed to him, thanking her.

"Professor Brode asked me to tell you that if you have time, it's best to visit his office before 8 p.m. tonight."

"Oh, I see. Have some candy," Albert casually took out a few candies from his pocket and handed them to her.

The girl curiously examined Albert, as if trying to figure something out.

"What's the matter?" Albert also noticed her scrutinizing gaze and furrowed his brows slightly.

"I quite like chocolate flavor," the girl said, not refusing Albert's candy. She peeled one and popped it into her mouth. "Everyone says you're a genius, lucky Albert."

Albert's hand, which was about to open the note, paused. He looked up at her with a bewildered expression on his face.

"I'm not exactly a genius. I just work a little harder than others," Albert raised his hand and made a gesture with his thumb and index finger to indicate a little.

"Haha, you're really funny," the girl patted Albert's shoulder. "Keep up the good work and make sure to outshine Isabel McDougall."

Albert winced in pain, feeling like his shoulder was about to dislocate from the patting.

"Thanks for the candy, it's delicious." She said and then turned and walked away.

"What? You're actually getting involved with Krag?" Albert suddenly heard a voice by his ear. Without any warning, violent bludger player Eileen appeared behind him.

"Krag?" Albert was also taken aback by the name, but he quickly realized what was going on and explained, "She delivered a letter to me. It seems Professor Brode wants to see me."

Albert opened the note, and its contents were similar to what Krag had said. He checked the time on his pocket watch and bid Eileen goodbye before hastily leaving.

"Why would Professor Brode want to see me?" Albert wondered. Still, he decided to go to the Defense Against the Dark Arts office first to find out what was going on.

A few minutes later, outside the Defense Against the Dark Arts office, Albert took a deep breath and raised his hand to knock on the wooden door.

"Come in."

The person who opened the door was a middle-aged wizard in his fifties, wearing glasses and sporting slightly messy red hair. He had a gentle smile on his face.

Albert was stunned, his gaze passing through the middle-aged wizard's body and into the office, but he didn't see Professor Brode. Perplexed, he asked, "Where's Professor Brode?"

"He just went to the library. He'll be back soon," the middle-aged wizard said with a smile. "Brode told me that if you came, I should let you in. He'll be back shortly."

"Professor Brode wants to see me?" Albert glanced at the wizard in front of him, then his gaze swept over the scattered parchment on the desk.

"Yes, it's related to ancient magical texts. Brode believes you can provide some assistance," the middle-aged wizard sat on the couch opposite Albert. "I've seen your translations of those ancient texts, and honestly, they're quite impressive."

A brief moment of astonishment appeared on Albert's face. He had never really considered that aspect before.

"By the way, I haven't introduced myself. I'm Mog, Mog McDougall." The middle-aged wizard suddenly introduced himself. "Pleased to meet you."
