Elpis POV
I didn't know what she was thinking but if this is what she wants, why not? I knew that look in her eyes. She had a plan and I wanted to just follow.
I left early the next morning. She looked peaceful and I didn't want to disturb her. For a girl like her, it is really rare to find her this peaceful and I just wanted to keep it that way.
Lydia's pack was a stone's throw away so I didn't have to travel much. They are a small pack so their community wasn't big enough. Thankfully their alpha, Lydia's father, and my father have been good friends. when I informed them of my arrival, I was welcomed with so much grace.
"My boy! It has been a long time."
"You too alpha Silas. The last time I saw you was my father's funeral."
"Right, he was a good man," he said in a soft and sad voice. The both of them were best of friends so I can imagine how he feels.
"Please sit and have a meal with me."
