The Dawn of Antiquity: The Arrival of the Dark God - Chapter Thirty-One

As I fall into an endless dark pit, a sound plays into my mind. I can't figure out what the sound is. 'Is it a voice or a song? I don't know.' The last thing I recalled was a storm of flames engulfing the world. 'Where is the Baroness? She was beside me when the Earth opened up and swallowed us.' I couldn't see the dragon, Missi Tsuyoiryūō. That flaming demon tossed us into a never-ending pitch. Just as that sentiment crosses my mind, I hit something solid. There was no pain; it was more like I had landed instead of slamming into the ground. I finally get a clear picture of where I am. Above me was a yellow sky with a single orange sun. Black marble-like stones dotted the landscape. The ground is made of black coal or rock. I saw trees made of gray stone and bushes made of iron. The place was alien to what I knew. Mounds of fire were everywhere, like geysers.

"Where the hell is this? Could this be hell itself?" I whispered.
