Finally, my caravan arrived in Pons Aelii. Lady Juventia, Lady Vipstana, and Lady Volcatia were excited to explore the metropolis before the scheduled games next week. So were Livia and Caesonia, as this was their first time visiting the city. I'd make sure to spend time with them while here. Although I would also have to set up private dates with each noble Lady if I wanted to do so. This would be hard with Lady Volcaita with Zenon still being alive, but I would make it work. Traveling with Lady Volcaita, I discovered there was no love between the two of them. Their union was a marriage of political convenience. For now, I had official work to conduct. It was common courtesy for a Governor of another region to greet the sitting Governor. That meant the noble ladies had to officially meet Governor Lord Solus Marakus Gravius. Caius, Elisaweta, and Zinhela would accompany me as I escorted them to the Governor's Castle.
