Buried Feelings

Since Tereko Shiori held the custody of three remaining Red-cross mercenaries as suspects, day and night she torture them to extract information about the Athenaeum.

After Misaki utterly disowned them, all they knew that Athenaeum's leader Misaki/Antheia, a beautiful, well-endowed woman with short grey hair and also reveals their ties with the Capricorn Union, and the Mutanic Fundamentalist, the Black-flag who hired Athenaeum to execute the mission, with Athenaeum's failure they turned on them, plotting revenge while operating overseas.

With 18 hours of continuous torture, obtained some irrelevant information Tereko took a break and went to check with Hatteki in his room since wasn't himself lately, after their last mission.

Once Tereko entered, she noticed a phone call buzzing on it's own, and Hatteki shut himself into his bedroom, since no one was there to pick up, Tereko answered the call.

Upon answering, a hologram of the Code Phoenix member Nobeshiba projected in front of Tereko's, hoped to see Hatteki.

"Shiori I was hoping to see Hatteki."

"I haven't checked on yet."

Teriko directly responded.

"I afraid that the mission was triggered some minor psychological issues."

"Psychological issues?"

"Yep, but I believe he get through it."

"Tck, anyway have you spilled anything from the terrorist suspects from the Simplex supermarket?"

"No, nothing particular."

Shockingly, despite Tereko knew valuable information from the interrogation she purposely chose to withhold that, didn't reveal her comrade as she must hide her own motives.

After Nobeshiba disconnected the call, Tereko went inside Hatteki's quarters which was messed up beyond imagining.

"Pill... give my pills, anyone give my pills!"

The room was dark, messy things shattered around because Hatteki threw everything, and him crawling over the floor, begging for his medication.

"Here you haven't ate anything from all this time, the doctors told you should maintained your diet regularly."

"Ahhh, FUCK the doctors. Give me those now!"

Hatteki snatched the bottle of pills from Tereko when she about to give it to him.

"What is it you want Tereko?"

Tereko went closer compassionately cradled Hatteki into her arms and said in polite, lovely tone.

"Nothing I mean, just like to know what happened at the Simplex, do you remember anything?"

"No."

Hatteki stood up rashly, when his regular symptoms have vanished.

"Why do you ask?"

Hatteki said, gasping for stress.

"Make sure you're okay."

"I'm fine, thanks for asking. And henceforward, stop asking about my wellbeing, just give me my medicines in time, alright?"

After Hatteki's rude comment he walked out of his room, however, Tereko's infatuation about Hatteki is obvious, by the time when she was first assigned to work with Takamatsuke Hatteki, she was suffering from depression and no one care for her.

One night before meeting Hatteki, she tried to commit suicide but interrupted by Hatteki who in that time did not knew she was on the rooftop.

When she asked about his name, Hatteki responded as an spectator, here to watch her die, when Tereko reluctant to take her life, Hatteki toyed with Tereko, admitting to her the whole truth of his actions and motives, as a bored soldier and a Code Phoenix member, before bringing Tereko to the edge of the building, where the bloodstains from the last person who committed suicide there are still visible on the ground below. He manipulated her to reconsider whether she really wants to die or not.

From beginning Takamatsuke Hatteki consider a skilful psychological manipulator, Tereko knew he was the man she was partnered with, yet he had no problem twist Tereko's mind,

Afterwards when everything was set and done, Hatteki assaulted her and forcefully threw her off the edge but caught her just in time, giving her a massive shock.

When Tereko infuriated upon Hatteki's actions, threaten to kill him, he admitted that he wanted to show her how precious life was that she willing to murder someone attempt on their lives; more practically.

Tereko understood what he meant and changed her point of view, decided to give her life a chance, after working with Hatteki for so long, she developed a special kind of feelings above regular job partnership.
