The genesis of six stars

"As you ordered, I have taken it upon myself to look into six adequate buildings, within the immediate surroundings of the castle.

I carefully took into consideration your points, three of the six are already fully functional fighting clubs. Each run by people with the necessary abilities, who employ people in need of money.

The fourth was already empty and is already made into the next fighting club, the fifth is an elderly couple that only wants to move if they get a house in the capital with some extra measures.

I have secured a house, fulfilling all their needs and I was merely waiting for your permission to put it in action."

The youngest of the council members was quite meticulous, way better than he thought it would be considering it was quite a big task.

''What about the sixth?"

''That is where we have experienced some troubles-''swallowing visibly, scared to disappoint, he continued."-In fact the sixth house is already perfect, with a few changes here and there it would be more than perfect. It's just the owner isn't interested in money and threw us out."

Voicing his thoughts, laced with disinterest. "Not interested? However now I am.''

''What do you wish for me to do?''

Twirling a pen in his hand, contemplation crossing his face before he smirked.

"There is no need for you to do anything, you shall hear from me when the time is ripe.

Focus on the fifth first and then make sure that together with the fourth they are all ready.

Hesitantly he nodded in agreement before voicing his concerns. "Will you go there yourself?"

"As long as we finish this successfully, without alerting anyone, it doesn't matter who does what or where! You have your orders, finish them."

"Yes, your Majesty!"

''You may leave, keep me updated when the fourth and fifth are ready and tell my servant to bring me some tea.''

''I shall do as you say, have a fine evening your Highness.''

The closing of doors made him relax a little, months had already passed at this time and even though he tried his best it was hard to do magic while having none of it himself.

The farthest he had been capable of doing was charming a hair tie to hide his silver hair.

And even that had left him gasping as the only magic he had at his disposal right now was the magic anchored in his soul.

Yet only that was hardly enough, soul magic was most of the time closely linked to the magic of the core. A core that was present within the body, the two forms connected closely with each other.

And because his soul was ripped and dumped in a body that didn't have magic, his soul magic alone wasn't sufficient. Especially because he wasn't very knowledgeable in the pursuit of soul magic.

A matter that should definitely be worked at in the foreseeable future, without a doubt there is a possibility of this happening again.

As it was the only source of magic he had right now and when he used it he was left coughing for days, the balance within him was rapidly getting very fragile and he hadn't even started the project on Sophie.

His soul wouldn't last long, undeveloped in those forms of magic.

{Are you sure this six star formation is going to work?}

{Yes, of course.}

{What about those six red orbs, how do they function?}

{Those orbs will catch the energy that the stars give off and in turn you will be able to use that through your own orb, called the master orb.

An orb which is capable of changing the energy to mana.}

{How intriguing, i've never heard of such an ord.

I'm sure neither would Aethelstan, he would have mentioned it if it existed in my world.}

{Who says it is from your world.}

Muttering a whisper of course, Acacius decided to focus on the sixth house.

And afterwards he would be busy with the spy, Asani, Sophie and the matters of his Kingdom.

''His majesty is expecting tea.''

June wasn't impressed to say the least, the youngest of the council members spoke as if he was high above him yet he was the one who couldn't speak to their emperor without stuttering or being nervous.

"Ah yes, let me just...''Fumbling with the cup and the countless plates, he continued until he deemed everything perfect.

"What do you think, will he like it?

There are some sweet potatoes, some eggs and even some soup."

"It"s almost a full fledged meal, what is this?"

''Hmm, he hasn't been eating his snacks. So I decided to try and vary the meals and see which one he likes and eats more. He has been rather pale lately and has been acting tense so I just hope it helps."

Seemingly distracted by the trays, the other nodded slightly at his words, confirming that June wasn't the only one who thought so.

In hopes of more information he kept summing up things. ''Barely sleeping, coming down with colds he hides and even pretending to eat."

"It is rather unusual."

"True,the amounts of time he woke up drenched in sweat from nightmares are almost uncountable"

The other didn't even notice when he started to open up and state his own observations.

'He does seem rather tense, thinking logically the lack of eating and even the nightmares would point to the fact that something keeps him occupied.

To the point of making him sick yet it is not our place to make assumptions."

"Oh dear, I truly forgot my place.

It was just out of concern, I'm sure you understand."

"I--do'' Seeing the contemplation, June decided not to risk it.''I'm sure it's fine, forget I said anything.''

Young and inexperienced, then again he was younger than the council member.

Stilling in front of the study, hands reaching out to open he stopped as if frozen in time. Ears perked up as he caught coughs loudly overtaking the room.

Hand lowering, he held on to the cart with the other as he attentively listened, focusing on every sound inside.

It was only after minutes the coughing stopped and silence returned to the room.

His assumption of him being sick had proven itself to be true and now he just needed to know why.

It was necessary to find at least two pieces of proof, to back up his claims and whatever DSO sent his way was still unknown.

One was already searching for a needle in a haystack but two?

Not even considering the fact that he barely held onto a place next to the emperor, a very small place.

His close watch had diminished rapidly and he feared his highness was becoming aware of his schemes as he was pushing back considerably.

And he couldn't have that, for his own revenge(no matter how muddled) he needed the truth.

For what is vengeance worth if done with clouded eyes?

It was time he started to take some higher risks, as a spy that should be a given.

Soon, soon he would comb through the study and his majesty's bedroom, two places that were very much out of limits.
