"We have decided on what we want in exchange for our help and protection," Zan said and the humans especially Mara could only hold their breaths. "We are going to help you with your troll problem, help with the investigations on what was making them behave out of the norm and then help rebuild the walls."

This was bad. They had only asked for protection but now they were being given alot by this demons. This was not good. Whatever the prize was to pay, it was going to be a hard one. " Okay what do you want?" The King asked and all eyes went back to Zan.

"We would like to ask for the princess's hand in marriage to our crown prince," Zan said for the room to fall into complete silence. The tension was so high that if flicked would sound like a guitar. "Of course as the crown prince is the most protected person, the princess will be safe and so will be your kingdom."

Zan said that they would come back in two days to know their decision and stood up. Kiel on the other hand looked at Mara. Even with all the tension, she could not stop blushing.

In the presence of everyone, he walked over to her. The guards, though scared came over to the princess. This didn't stop him at all. "Your hand your highness," he said softly but firmly. She couldn't help her body as it moved in its own accord. He bent his head and kissed the back of her hand so gently.

Mara could have sworn that heat spasms filled her from his lips to her hand to her toes and so could Kiel. He had once again confirmed her fae origin and the other thing he felt which he couldn't explain.

Everyone in the throne room gasped seeing such a bold move from the demons especially just in front of her father. Kiel was the least bothered by this while Mara couldn't help the heating up.

"We will be back in two days to hear you decision your majesty," he said and gave a deep bow to King Levy and the queen. He looked back at Mara who was still recovering and smiled at her before he disappeared from the room.

They materialized in the demon realm's throne room where they found King Lucian was waiting for them. He was exuding a kingly aura from where probably his son caught it from. "Did you get the human realm under us?" He asked motioning for his son and his right hand man to rise.

"We might but in another way, " Kiel said sitting down. Zan stood right behind him. "What do you mean?" the King asked. Kiel then explained to the king about the princess and how odd it was that she wasn't affected by the dying of the magic even if she herself was a light fae.

They figured that there had to be something unique about her as the family also clearly did not know she was a light fae. There had to be something in her or about her that could help the queen. That was why, he explained, that they had changed their plans.

The King was hopeful but he didn't want it to bloom as they weren't sure but he didn't want to lose his wife even if there was a small chance. "But what if they don't agree?" His father asked. " I think we better add salt to injury just a little bit to coarce them in to having no option to refuse am I right. I will pay a visit to the princess's mind tonight. I noticed her behaving oddly as if she knew something about today so I have to see what was going on," Kiel said smirking.

"Do whatever you must. If there is a slight chance that she can help your mother then do what you must," the king said placing his hand on his son's shoulder and left the room. Kiel smiled and turned to his friend. "I will go alone on this one, you go rest as tomorrow we have to train early with the death row so go rest," he said to Zan who nodded and disappeared. Kiel also disappeared.

He appeared in Mara's room to see her dead asleep. She kept furrowing her brows and he knew he probably had hit the jackpot. He immediately mind linked with her to access her dream. He found himself watching her as she sat in the throne room. From the looks of it, the King had refused to marry her off to him.

He watched as an old man gave a report on how the trolls had attacked the central lands walls and part of them had been destroyed. He said that the citizens had been attacked. Suddenly, a soldier came in and said that the crown prince was badly injured in his room.

Kiel could only help but smile. It is not that he wished the crown prince to die as he had seen him to be a very wise young man, it is just that, this situation was going to help him alot to get the princess. She would be the one to call upon the demons and force her father to agree to the marriage for her brother.

He also saw from her dream that her brother would die. Demons could bring people back to life but they wouldn't be the same. Knowing how much Mara loved her brother, he decided to change the dream when it became a reality to that he would almost die than him actually dying.

As for her dream, he made it to remain that he would die. He then performed a ritual to manifest the dream exactly how it was, except for the brother dying. However much he didn't care for anyone but his mother's health, something inside him couldn't let her suffer.

When she started waking up, he teleported to Zeme's room and cast a powerful protection spell on him so that he couldn't die and then went back to his kingdom.
