The Dark Prince and The Runaway Heiress

What bride would want to marry a prince who would put a crown made of thorn on her head? What kind of groom would vow to protect his bride, knowing his task was to kill her in the end? A descendant of a once-powerful and proud Alpha King, Avana pledged to become the next Alpha and swore never to submit to their enemies. But could she run away from her destiny? A son of a Tyrant King, Adam desired revenge against those who killed his mother and condemned him to live as a monster for eternity. But would finding his bride give him what he had sought for centuries? Will Avana and Adam finally succumb to this impending union? Will destiny destroy them or be their salvation? *** "I have searched for you for centuries." Adam grabbed her by the arm, pulling her closer until their faces were inches away. Eyes locked in a battle of will. "Why?" Avana reacted, suddenly drowning in the intensity of his stare. "So, you can hurt me." Saying barely in a whisper. "Kill me?" "No." He responded as his lips grazed through her temple, leaning even closer. "Then, why?" She closed her eyes as electricity coursed through her body with that slight contact of his lips on her skin. "So, I can claim you as mine." "Are you sure this would work?" Ivrea asked as her lips started trembling after hearing her grand plan. "Could we not just crawl into another hole?" She believed it was better than what Elisia suggested for her to do.

She was not like her friends, who could effortlessly summon their courage and achieve excellence in everything they did. She had to take more time and do more than them. So much more than that to be near as close to them.

"This is the only option we have, or we abandon our plans completely," Elisia asked her, making her question if her fear was more than her love for her friend.

"But..." She was about to protest, hoping they could still conceive a safer and better solution to their present dilemma.

"Do you think Avana would be safe in the hands of that Prince? We don't have time to think of another way." Elisia pointed out, which only increased the stake and the pressure she felt.
