The Dark Prince and The Runaway Heiress

What bride would want to marry a prince who would put a crown made of thorn on her head? What kind of groom would vow to protect his bride, knowing his task was to kill her in the end? A descendant of a once-powerful and proud Alpha King, Avana pledged to become the next Alpha and swore never to submit to their enemies. But could she run away from her destiny? A son of a Tyrant King, Adam desired revenge against those who killed his mother and condemned him to live as a monster for eternity. But would finding his bride give him what he had sought for centuries? Will Avana and Adam finally succumb to this impending union? Will destiny destroy them or be their salvation? *** "I have searched for you for centuries." Adam grabbed her by the arm, pulling her closer until their faces were inches away. Eyes locked in a battle of will. "Why?" Avana reacted, suddenly drowning in the intensity of his stare. "So, you can hurt me." Saying barely in a whisper. "Kill me?" "No." He responded as his lips grazed through her temple, leaning even closer. "Then, why?" She closed her eyes as electricity coursed through her body with that slight contact of his lips on her skin. "So, I can claim you as mine." LXI

Elisia watched Isaac pace around the room. He did not seem to want to escape as they initially thought, but he was in deep thought, probably thinking of his friend just like she was.

She agreed with Ivrea about this man. They could probably use his help in finding their friend. But she was still keeping a close watch on him. She could not trust him even if he seemed to act as an ally.

"Elisia, what do you think we should do?" Ivrea asked her with fear in her eyes. "Do you think Avana is in grave danger?"

She could tell that her friend was fighting her anxiety as much as she could, but it still showed in her aura.

"I believe the Elders knew what they were doing. They would not put Avana in danger." Elisia confidently answered her friend, hoping it would calm her down, but she was not entirely feeling unperturbed. She also wondered if she had done the right thing.
