The Dark Prince and The Runaway Heiress

What bride would want to marry a prince who would put a crown made of thorn on her head? What kind of groom would vow to protect his bride, knowing his task was to kill her in the end? A descendant of a once-powerful and proud Alpha King, Avana pledged to become the next Alpha and swore never to submit to their enemies. But could she run away from her destiny? A son of a Tyrant King, Adam desired revenge against those who killed his mother and condemned him to live as a monster for eternity. But would finding his bride give him what he had sought for centuries? Will Avana and Adam finally succumb to this impending union? Will destiny destroy them or be their salvation? *** "I have searched for you for centuries." Adam grabbed her by the arm, pulling her closer until their faces were inches away. Eyes locked in a battle of will. "Why?" Avana reacted, suddenly drowning in the intensity of his stare. "So, you can hurt me." Saying barely in a whisper. "Kill me?" "No." He responded as his lips grazed through her temple, leaning even closer. "Then, why?" She closed her eyes as electricity coursed through her body with that slight contact of his lips on her skin. "So, I can claim you as mine." Ivrea looked at him, unconvinced by his words. She knew he was only saying those words to fool her into believing he was not a monster. But he was.

"How could you even say that the werewolves were not innocent? What had they even done to you?" She questioned him, pointing her fingers in his face.

"You slaughtered them like animals, only to what, instill fear to those who would try to oppose you." She had never felt this kind of rage before.

Usually, she was afraid of confrontations, but this man had found a way to infuriate her, probably blowing up a fuse in her brain, making her lose her control.

He managed to unleash her hatred for those who like to abuse those weak and unable to defend themselves, remembering when she was once a victim of constant bullying.

If not for Avana and Elisia, she would still be too scared to stand for herself and probably continue to hide in the shadows, afraid to gain any attention.
