The Dark Prince and The Runaway Heiress

What bride would want to marry a prince who would put a crown made of thorn on her head? What kind of groom would vow to protect his bride, knowing his task was to kill her in the end? A descendant of a once-powerful and proud Alpha King, Avana pledged to become the next Alpha and swore never to submit to their enemies. But could she run away from her destiny? A son of a Tyrant King, Adam desired revenge against those who killed his mother and condemned him to live as a monster for eternity. But would finding his bride give him what he had sought for centuries? Will Avana and Adam finally succumb to this impending union? Will destiny destroy them or be their salvation? *** "I have searched for you for centuries." Adam grabbed her by the arm, pulling her closer until their faces were inches away. Eyes locked in a battle of will. "Why?" Avana reacted, suddenly drowning in the intensity of his stare. "So, you can hurt me." Saying barely in a whisper. "Kill me?" "No." He responded as his lips grazed through her temple, leaning even closer. "Then, why?" She closed her eyes as electricity coursed through her body with that slight contact of his lips on her skin. "So, I can claim you as mine." Presently, standing by the door, showing her brother what she had witnessed still made her skin crawl with an unknown fear for the boy. She did not understand what was happening to him. She had not seen anything like this before.

She had not been around for centuries compared to Jace, but she had lived longer than an ordinary human. She had seen many things during those times, but nothing like this.
