Synopsis - Extended Version

"The dark mage, Jason, died a heroic death at the age of thirty. He sacrificed himself bravely to save all the rankers in the tower from the Others and everyone in the tower will always remember him as a hero."

That is the story that everyone heard about Jason's death. The truth was very different.

The war against the Others lasted for more than ten years. Jason fought on the frontlines against these monsters. His dark magic was peerless and he seemed unstoppable as he paved a way for all the other rankers in the tower. But right as the war was ending and he finally thought he would be accepted into the heavens, he was betrayed in his final battle against the Others,

The heavens called him a demon, just like the Others. They spat on his efforts and said he was no different from the monsters they killed. But the people saw him as a hero and he was loved by the rankers. The heavens knew that the rankers would not abandon Jason.

So the heavens planned that on that day, they would kill Jason in secret, and after crafting a grand tale of his death, Jason would die a hero.

And as he was surrounded by angels on every side, and they pointed their spears at him, Jason could only chuckle.

"I knew you were all acting strange for the past few months. So now that the war is almost over you have no need for me!?" Jason shouted at the leader of the angels in anger, "You summoned an entire fleet of angels just to get rid of me!? Are you expecting me to lay down and beg you!? You think I will go down without a fight!?"

A hailstorm of magic power surged across the battlefield as Jason's body was covered with dark magic, "If you want my life, then I dare you to come and take it!"

Two hundred angels died that day before Jason was finally killed. and as he died, he spat in the face of the leader of the angels and swore to get his revenge.

As fate would have it, Jason was thrown through time after his death and he ended up in the body of his fifteen year old self. And this time, Jason swore that things will be different.
