Chapter 183

Mora's roar echoed up into the tunnels of the area, clattering the black-washed windows that were set high into the roof. She battled her bonds, but the temporary explosion of spent adrenaline only left her gasping and depleted. The restraints cut into her wrists as her weight slumped once more, her thighs too weak to hold her.

"And because I can, Mora," Liam continued, "...if you don't tell me where the fuck the prince is, I'm going to kill you and everyone you care about!"

Mora huffed, suspended helplessly from her bonds. "I don't know. I don't even know where the hell he is." She groaned. The sedatives were pulling her under again, making her head swirl. Alpha Liam watched with autonomous stillness, yet stood well out of reach. He strolled to the entrance and signaled two of his wardens inside. He pointed to Herbert's desecrated body.

"Take that decaying cadaver out of here and let it burn or feed it to the crows."
