Flowers

As we were entering the village premises, we met with the village chief

"Hi"(Alef)

"Why did you skip your patrol duty?"(Mr. Krugger)

He asked with an underlying anger.

"He doesn't have any responsability of protecting this village. In fact, you should show him more gratitude for dealing with the darkness beast"(master)

What he just said made me boil in anger but before I could say anything my master retorted with a disdainful glance.

"Who the hell do you think you are!?"(Krugger)

The moment he finished yelling at her, master was at his back and the blade of her scythe was pressing against his neck.

"I'm his master and I'll let you know that if you yell at me once more, you can say goodbye to your head"(master)

Master said with a tone so cold that send me a shiver down my spine.

After threatening Krugger, master retrieved her blade and started to walk.

"Come on my cute little apprentice, we should get going"(master)

"Right behind you"(Alef)

As we walked towards home, Krugger knees gave in and he collapsed.

"You seem to be in a good mood"(master)

Master commented with her eyebrow raised.

"What can I say? Seeing him almost pee was refreshing"(Alef)

I said cheerfully while shrugging.

"I'm with you in that. Seeing bullies like him in that state is rather refreshing"(master)

Because of the sight of Krugger almost peeing, we were so joyful that we didn't bicker once on our way home.

"We are back"(Alef)

"My my, why are we so happy? And what's with the flowers"(Auntie Lynn)

"Something funny happened on our way back and these are for Rosa. You see, our little Romeo graduated from being a coward"(master)

Master said while grinning.

"Rosa will be overjoyed. I hope she won't faint"(auntie Lynn)

Auntie Lynn muttered.

"What?"(Alef)

"Nothing, Rosa is at the lab. Good luck"(auntie Lynn)

She pushed me towards the lab.

<Master's POV>

After she pushed my cute little apprentice to the lab, she turned at me

"Do you think he'll confess?"(Lynn)

"Nope, but this is a great advance"(master)

"You're right. Well, at least my little Rosa will be overjoyed. And, if I advice her well, I'll have a grandkid soon"(Lynn)

"Don't, you'll make her a pervert too"(master)

"Did you just call me a pervert?"(Lynn)

She asked me as her smile twitch.

"You're imagine things, granny"(master)

I said innocently but she tried to smack me in the head. Naturally, I ran away while chuckling

<Rosabell's POV>

The door of the lab suddenly opened and Alef entered the lab with some flowers. It would be nice if those were for me, but surely they are for some kind of potion. So, after a quick glance to Alef I returned to processing herbs, but just then I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"You know, this days you're really giving it your all. In no time you'll be a great pharmacist"(Alef)

Hearing a praise from him made me so happy, that I wanted to scream of happiness but I restrained myself.

"Thanks, but I still have a long way to go. For what kind of potion are those flowers?"(Rosa)

I asked while pointing at the flowers. I'm really curious what kind of medicine needs those flowers.

"These aren't for medicine, in fact they don't have any kind of medicinal property. They just look good"(Alef)

Then why the hell did you pick them. Don't tell me you're planning to give them to that baker wench!? Ahhhhhh!!! I really want to strangle you, dumbass!!! I love you so much and you just ignore me, but that's not enough for you, you have to flaunt right in my face how much you love that fucking bitch!!!!!

Calm down Rosa, inhale, exhale. Let's give him a chance to explain himself before killing the dumbass.

"Then, why did you pick them?"(Rosa)

I asked him while trying my best not to kick him in the balls.

"Well, I pick them because their color reminded me of the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. And, I thought of giving them to her"(Alef)

"How romantic"(Rosa)

My smiled twitch and I prepared to kick him.

"So do you like them? After all, they are for you"(Alef)

And my heart was once more pierce by his arrow of love.

The moment he gave me the flowers I was so excited that my mind went blank. And, before I realized, I kissed him. I was so embarrassed that I ran away to my room.

<Master's POV>

We where drinking tea and discussing what will happen because of the flowers, when Rosa suddenly ran through the living room to her room. The three of us only stayed there watching silently.

A few seconds later, my cute little apprentice appear smiling like an idiot. So, I understood what happened.

"So, how was the kiss?"(master)

I asked him while grinning and instead of retorting, he just blushed. I just hit JACKPOT!!!! Fufufu, I hope you are prepared for the teasing of your life.
