Chapter 7: A Secret From The Past (Part 2)

She puts a cup of the in front of them, then sits next to me. "Have you decided on a date, place, and theme for your marriage?"

Rose nodding her head. "We will get married on September 30th." Kevin took a deep breath and exhale. "What about you? Lobak said, both of you want to tell me about something, right!?" She glancing at me.

I cleared my throat, hold her hand. "Kevin and I were a couple. We became a couple just an hour long." She furrowed her brow.

"She's right, Rose. Lobak and my husband were a couple for an hour long." She looks me in the eye. I can't describe what she's thinking right now. When your lover heard a fact about that, what should you do? "Besides, she's back then also a lesbian. Before she became a lesbian, she also has several ex-boyfriends." Helmi said.

Puberty will hit you like a truck. "Helmi, my husband was there too. Three of us were close." I opened the jar and put in front of them.

"I-I need to process all the facts I heard today." She stands up, then leave. I took a deep breath. Well, I'm not blaming her. I take a sip of her tea and looked at two people in front of me.

I crossed my leg to the left and raised my eyebrow. "I know you, Kev. What do you want?" I asked him.

He exhale and straightened his body. "I'm surprise, really. I thought you already get back to her and leaving her behind." Kevin rubbed his nose, tapped on his husband tight.

"I owe you 300 bucks." You guys placing a bet for this!? I cleared my throat as they stared into each other eyes with full of love. They should be responsible for the problem they made earlier. If she called off the wedding, I will kill them.

I don't care if I will go to jail for that. I know it's not their fault, soon or later, she will find out by herself. "You alright, horseradish!?" Yeah, whatever. Kevin put a chocolate envelope on the coffee table, then looked at me. "This is will help you and your company. We decide to… invest. I heard you keep looking for an investor, right?"

I'm looking at the chocolate envelope, and pushed back to him. "You bribe me." He furrowed his brow. "If you want to become an investor to my company, legally. You can come to my office." I give him my business card.

Kevin picked my business card. "You change. All of this because of her?" Helmi asked. I'm nodding my head. Since I met her, she's the one who takes care of me, slapped me, and argued with me. My relationship with her was fine, until… Sarah, Jane, and Ken almost destroy my relationship.

"It's that not obvious, Hel?" I can't keep my straight my thoughts on her. "You guys have the intention to stop by, or… you want to destroy our relationship!?" I picked my phone and send her a chat through the Instagram DM, Telegram, and I even send her a message.

She will directly reply, but she doesn't reply to none of my messages. Fuck, I should call Sarah to explain why she did that!? I tapped my fingers. "We want to stop by. We miss you." I took a deep breath, looked at them. Honestly, I want to invite them to my wedding, but seems like they just want to stop by.

"When will you go!?" My heart keeps beating fast, cold sweat dripping from my face, and I bite my finger as I stare at my phone.

"We will go tomorrow." He puts a bag of cake on the coffee table. "We will make sure she won't call off the wedding." You should be! I leaned my back, try to relax. I should meet her tomorrow. No matter what, I will meet her.

I parked my car in front of her mom's house and took a deep breath. I can't sleep. It's already past midnight, and she didn't reply to my message. Whenever I closed my eyes, I can't keep thinking about what happened next.

My heart keeps beating fast. I don't want knocked on that door. I turned off the engine, gets out the car. Thank God I bring my anti-mosquito repellent. Tonight, the sky seems dark, but why is lot of stars today? I leaned my back on the pillar and straightened my legs.

I wrapped my body with the blanket I bring and cover my legs with my jacket. "What are you doing here!?" I straightened my body.

She walking approach me as she rubbed her arms, then sit next to me. "I-I can't sleep." I said. She sits next to me, leaned her head on her shoulder. I surround my hand on her waist. "I know, the truth about that photo shocked you, but it's already the past and…" She puts her finger in front of my lips.

"Did you… just say you came to my house at this hour because I'm not replying to your message, or you literally can't sleep?" Well, she's got me.

I can't keep lying to her about everything. "I can't sleep if something doesn't feel right." She's hummed. Rose holds my hand. When she said she needs time to processing the fact, I'm frightened to lose her.

"Honestly, Sarah already told me when I arrived at the house. Something off with her Lobak. You should go to her house, not staying there. My battery was low and when I arrived, I'm falling asleep. I'm sorry if it makes you thinking negatively."

She rubbed my arm. I sighed in relief and try to calm myself. "Did you already have dinner?" She nodding her head, touching my wound gently. I hold her hand, kissed her finger. I love her so much. Not by words to explain how big my love is.

 "So tell me why, what's good is life. If we're all just waiting to dance in the sky? I'm already there, here in your eyes. We climb the gates, every times you lie down next to me." I hold her hand as I don't want to lose her. "I rest in peace. They say it's better, but how could that be? If everyone had a love like us. They wouldn't call that place above, Heaven."1

She kissed my cheek and pushed me. "Go home, you cheesy mouse!" I'm nodding my head. She followed to stand up and kissed me on the cheek. "I remember what you said a couple of months ago. Like it or not, it's part of the life."

"Rose!" Shit. We laughed as I put my hand in my pocket. I walked to where I parked my car. She's right, I should talk to Sarah. Yeah, she's not only almost destroy my relationship. Kenzie complains about her behavior lately.

I should meet her to explain everything.
