Chapter 29: Cleaning To Start Over

I opened the door and looking at The Triplets, Sarah, and Kenzie. "I hope…"

"We get it, Lobak. We only want the best for you." Sarah handing me a broom. "Take your time." Everything will change if I handing that broom. No more alcohol and everything that could harm me in the past.

I took a deep breath and pick the broom. All of them cheered and Bella pulled the confetti. Everyone inside this room hugged me. Oh, God. I should have done this by myself.

"Okay, now… let's clean your house. Rose will stay with you, right?" Kenzie looks at me.

I don't know. Everything is up to her mom. I shrugged my shoulder and took a deep breath. "You're professional contract with her almost expired, and I hope you can maintain your lifestyle when she's not around." Cassandra said.

Sarah clapping her hand and everyone inside this room looking at her. "Let's we…"

"Y-you all can have my stash for free or you can toss it, but don't touch my wine cellar. It's all investment, okay?" What kind of rich people who doesn't want their investment safe? Should I buy a vault to keep my wine there?

Sarah nodding her head. "You're not the type who likes to drink wine, anyway." She took a deep breath and exhale.

I sit next to Kenzie and put the broom next to me. "So, what's the plan now? Cleaning the house?" They nodding their head in sync. "What if… we clean… from my ex first? I think Rose is not uncomfortable whenever she saw my picture with her."

"You right." Daniella put on all my photo albums . "Does she cast a love spell, or she went to shaman to do that, Lobak!? She has a foul taste in fashion according to my analyze."

I rolled my eyes. "You right, but she's wearing a hijab. Who cares?" Kenzie said, shrugged her shoulder. I leaned my body and took a deep breath.

"What's wrong?" All eyes looked at me.

Sometimes I still wondering what should I do in life and how I overcome with it? Today, the day is coming. I never expect more than this. Got a good friends, girlfriend, and wealth. They are loyal to me. They are always there whenever I need them, even though they're not what I expect to be, but… this day is coming.

I shook my head. "No-nothing." I took all of her photograph and pile next to the album. All memories I spent with her in the past, I should forget it. Everything about her I should erase from my brain. "I never thought this day will come."

"We get it. Take your time." Kenzie tapped my shoulder and rubbed it. "Erasing a person who was important to us, it's difficult." Kenzie. Are you divorced with your wife? "We're fine, Lobak. Because of you. If you not talked to us about Delinda. Maybe I still runaway from her."

Damn you, motherfucker. I looked at the photograph. This is our first date. Delinda looks so cute in that outfit. I'm chuckling. I wiped my tears with my thumb and took a deep breath.

"Thank you to all of you. I'm sorry if I…" I try to hold back my tears. "If I made you mad all the time. I-I just…" Sarah stroked my hair.

"We get it, Lobak. You loved her and a broken heart is painful. You only wanted an answer, and she did not give it. That's why you thought she still loves you." Sarah hugs me.

"I hate to admit it, but she's right." Cassandra continues.

Sarah let go of her hugs. Everything we will do today it will become emotional because I already know why. I took a deep breath and moved to another photo album.

I put unused cloth inside the beer bottle. "You ready?" Kenzie handing me a lighter and took a deep breath.

"Do all of my cats already inside the cage?" Cassandra nodding her head. Great. I'm looking at the wooden crates in front of me.

I throw the bottle and it's burned all the crates. We watching a fire from a distance. Tonight is so bright. "Now, you are officially in the last stage of grief!" Everyone cheered and clapping their hand.

I took a deep breath and following them inside. "Now…"

"L-let me treat you. Since all of you… my guests." I said. I picked my phone and ordering the food. We love food. I open the HiDrive app.

Oh… there are a lot of offers there. Hmmm… oh, there is it. This is my favorite restaurant. This restaurant is our favorite.

"Lobak." Cassandra calls me. "You should open a message after this. Someone named Lily wants to talk to you."

What does she want? "Seriously? That Lily!? It's all about work, right?" Kenzie looks at me. She wants to make sure everything is fine between us.

"You literally a woman's magnet, Lobak. I'm not kidding." Daniella, she's the most popular girl on her campus. Who doesn't know her? She's brunette with chocolate eyes. All the male wants her to become their lover. The most fashionable among us.

She's not the impostor, okay? None of us gathering here to discussing what we do next. Not about who we should eject tonight, yet. "How's your company?" Bella asks.

"The resort, everything is fine. I asked the accountant and my HRD to sending me monthly report and their performance. I open the restaurant and gladly they write a positive review about the food, place, hygiene, and service." They hummed in sync.

I decide to open a five star family restaurant. That was a resort, right? Besides, lot of tourist and local eat at reasonable price. "If not halal, you're in trouble." I'm nodding my head. She's right. I'm standing, then cleared my throat.

"I want to go… supermarket to buy some soft drink, snacks, side dish, and appetizer. I already paid for the order. We're here to celebrate, right? Not for grief."

Alright, like what I said to them. I move on, not for a grief. Besides, we can't talk without food and drinks. Gladly I make a right decision. I'm not realized I'm smiling. She changes me.

Rose is my angel, and I should open my heart to her. What happens next, it's a mystery. Only God knows what will happen tomorrow.

We're only human. Just an ordinary human.
