Amelia Sanchez got out of the car with Oliver Foster to see Albert Brown. Oliver grabbed her hand, and Amelia looked up: "Why are you holding my hand?"
"You're my girlfriend. Isn't it okay to hold hands? What else should we do?" Oliver looked down and kissed Amelia quickly. Amelia was stunned and stared blankly at Oliver.
Oliver smiled brightly: "Your feelings for Albert are already wavering, so I must seize this opportunity to win you over."
"What are you talking about?" Amelia looked puzzled: "It sounds like some business competition."
"It's not so different from business, actually. It's important to act first. I'm already a step behind, so I can't afford to fall any further."
"You make it sound so simple, as if love is about whoever comes first." Amelia appeared helpless.
Did she make Oliver feel insecure?
"Oliver, I'm actually adapting to you, so don't worry too much. It'll be okay soon."
Amelia didn't know what else to say to give Oliver some sense of security.
