So fast forward to two weeks (duh) Louis and I had just got measured for new clothes, courtesy of Cinna of course. "Louis do you think I will die?" I asked nervously, picking the blue nail polish off my finger. "No hazza, I don't think so. Don't you remember my promise?"

"Fine.. two more weeks.. Louis?"

"hm" he said while tapping away on his phone. I wonder if he has a girlfriend, or a boy-

"yes. harry?" he looked up at me

"do you think I'm gonna make it?'

"what do you mean?"

"I mean, as in stay alive. I'm not that fit like everyone else, everyone else is more talented than me"

"well, if you think wielding a knife, or knocking someone's teeth down there throat talented then be my guest, but Hazza I promise you, I'll make sure you stay alive with me."

"you promise" I pulled off my best puppy dog face

"I promise" he grabbed my hand and led me away.

"Guys" Mitch stormed in causing the flower pot to fall on the floor with a sickening crack

" what the hell are you doing, we have to get you guys ready to say your goodbyes, and all that other mushy shit"

My mom was in tears. She didn't want me to go, but I had to. I had to protect her. I just couldn't live with myself if she died because of someone like me, I'm not worth the effort

"Hazza, be careful. I'm gonna miss you" she blowed her nose in her handkerchief.

"I know mom, and I will."

"harry? Ready to go." Cinna was standing by the chute, making sure that it would go up when It's supposed to. "Yeah"

"Since you and Louis are a team, and from the same district, both of you will share one chute, don't do anything.....R- rated"

"promise"

"can't promise" I hit his shoulder playfully "har har Lou"

"get in there, both of you."

I stepped inside the chute first, causing it to be zero room for Louis to come in. "Louis there isn't enough room"

"we'll make it work"

Louis stepped in and squeezed along with me. "The main thing that's taking up space is your ass"

"shut up styles" he chuckled.

Just then, the door to the chute slammed shut, signaling for Cinna to leave " See you boys on the other side" And with that he left.

30 seconds remaining, please stay put

"no shit, where else would we go. Stupid asses."

"Louis....i'm shaking"

"no, it's just the chute. When was the last time they cleaned these..."

"no...i mean, i'm shaking... Look"

"shit... calm down Harry we'll be alright"

"no, n-no we won't" I was shaking so terribly, I couldn't see straight, everything was blurry "Try to focus on me, look in my eyes"

"LOUIS, I CAN'T"

"stop panicking please, calm down rosey"

I took a deep breath and regained my composure, while trying to look at Louis

"come on hazz, you can do it"

I regained my sight, and realized that Louis has the most pretty eyes in the world, and no I'm not exaggerating. " I can see, I'm sorry"

"it's alright" We were both facing each other with Louis's hand resting on the side of my face and mine on his shoulder

The chute started shot up, causing me to bump my head against Louis

"Ow!"

The chute skyrocketed into the air, seeing only snow, and ice, it's gonna be really cold
