Aria and I get out of the Palace through the same paths she uses to get in. Marius follows, together with Tobin.

We're going out in an easy mood as if we weren't breaking who knows how many security protocols and maybe even a few laws. The Queen is supposed to be careful about her safety because it's of importance to the whole country. But I can protect myself, can't I? Also, I'm bringing Tobin along: this must suffice to count as a safe outing.

We are wearing plain clothes, trying to look as peasant as we can.

It's a sunny day, and the breeze is light and refreshing. Spring is blooming, and we'll soon have summer. The mood in the city it's at its best after the parade, and people are happy that the war is over. So much that they haven't complained about taxes, lack of services, corruption, and so on...

They are just glad the war didn't reach them.
