Ch-1, Hateful night

In a cold and rainy night, there stood a tall guy on a very long bridge. His clothes were all wet, and so were his eyes. As he slowly walked towards the edge of the bridge, he starting mumbling to himself.

"Why? Why was I born? Father, you left me all alone. I have a sister who is famous but loathes me because everyone thinks I killed my father. I always withstood against all the bullying but there's a limit to everything."

His eyes were bloodshot, his face grew sad and sad.

Soon he reached to wards the end, he grabbed the bar and jumped over to the very edge of the bridge.

"F-Finally I have the courage to gain freedom. I won't have to suffer anymore" He said with a faint smile on his face.

As He was about to jump into the lake, He heard someone on the bridge saying, "right! Can you even believe it!? The famous Player Kim Soohyun died during the Tower expedition..!"

The man's face went blank.

"Wh-What !? Sh-She died!? N-No that can't be true! How can she die when she's so strong!?"

He immediately pulled out his phone and searched it up.

"K-Kim Soohyun, the famous Korean player d-died during the Tower Expedition of the floor 680."

As he read the texts, tears started running down from his eyes.

"H-Her body is being held at the H-Hospital so that her friends and f-family can see her for the last time."

As he read the texts again, he quickly jumper over the the fence and started running as fast as he can.

The hospital was 56 km away from the bridge, To reach there in a short time, He ran through the forest. After 4 hours of continuous running, He finally reached the Hospital.

His clothes were torn up, his body was heavily bruised by the spiky plants in the jungle. One could say that he was a red coloured human as his body was almost covered in red colour.

When he reached the hospital, He saw people taking her body into the ambulance. He ran towards her but was stopped by a big muscles man. He recognised the man trying to stop him,

"You-You're the famous tanker, Kang Seol, but.. why are stopping me!? Get aside! I need to see my sister!" He said with tears in his eyes.

"She won't return to life even if you do meet her. I am here to meet you because of your sister." Kang seol said.

"Wh-What do you mean!? Get aside! Or the ambulance will leav-" even before he could complete his sentence, He fainted on the ground because of heavy blood loss.

After some time, As he opened his eyes, He found himself in a hospital room. He quickly rushed towards the door in hopes of seeing his sister just once but was stopped by Kang seol, who was sitting outside the room.

Kang seol grabbed him and dragged him into the room again, Threw him on the bed and shouted "STAY RIGHT THERE!"

His voice was so intimidating that he froze up on the bed.

"I'm here to meet you because your sister gave me a task before her death." Kang seol said.

"M-My sister?" He surprisingly asked.

"Yes, your sister, Kim soohyun gave me a task to deliver a message and a watch to his brother, Kim Hyunwoo."

"Wh-What?" Hyunwoo was surprised as his sister had never cared for him but yet she sent a message for him.

Kim seol tossed the watch towards him, "here's the watch and the message she wanted me to tell you was, 'Sometimes things don't go how they are supposed to be, yet one should only walk ahead to reach success'."

"Now my job here is done, goodbye, let's hope we don't see each other ever again."

Hyunwoo was in a daze as to what did his sister meant by this. He stared at the watch, "it's an analog watch huh?" He said.

His eyes showed a glint of light all of a sudden.

He understood what she meant by this and adjusted the Watch's time to 12:00. As soon as he changed the time, the area around him went black and soon it changed to a scenery of garden, as if he really was in a garden.

He saw someone drinking tea in some distance on a bench. He started walking towards them but soon realised it was his sister. He ran towards her sister in confusion and just before he reached her, his legs stopped automatically. As he remembered how much his sister used to loath him and hate him, his face grew sadder.

Soon he realised that someone was hugging him all along. His sister was hugging him for the first time. His eyes got red and tears started flowing out of his eyes.

"Sis-Sister! I knew it! You were a-alive! A-All of them were saying that you died but I knew it! You really are alive!"

His sister gently put her hands on his head and said,

"it's true, hyunwoo. This is just a memory I created in case I died, so that I can talk to you about everything that I haven't been able to. Although it's surprising how my brother solved the puzzle so quickly."

Hyunwoo's face had a mixed reaction. He was confused as to the sister who used to hate him so much, how could she change so much.

"I never really hated you, hyunwoo. I too was suffering by all the hateful words I used to say for you. But to keep you safe, I had to act that way." She said.

"To keep me safe? From whom?" Hyunwoo asked.
