The rescue
As Alisha looked at her wristwatch and realized how late it was, a wave of panic washed over her. She needed to start heading home, and there was no time to waste. But just as she was about to leave, Ryan spoke up.
"Hold on," he said, his voice full of concern. "I'll drop you off at your place."
Alisha couldn't help but smile at his gesture. She had been pleasantly surprised by how kind and thoughtful Ryan had been throughout the evening. It was clear that he was not only stunningly successful but also a genuinely good person.
They both walked outside the bar, and Ryan led her to where he had parked his car. Alisha's eyes widened in awe as she laid her eyes on the white, stunning car. Ryan seemed to have it all, she thought.
Ryan opened the passenger door for her, and Alisha gracefully climbed inside. He then walked around to the driver's side, started the car engine, and they were on their way.
