Chapter Eleven

The very thought of the alpha and his physic would make any female drool but that's the thing Nalani was not a regular female wolf in heat she was not a wolf female and secondly, she despised the alpha she was being kept in the pack house for reasons unknown to her and yet she wasn't permitted to leave pack territory until the case was settled yet the burial of Maria would be held two days from today nothing made sense to her why hold her here when he buries the dead it could only mean one thing.

He knew she was innocent he pretend to believe otherwise in other to get her to stay he was cunning and willy in his ways she remembered how she had been thrown out of his office even though she knew not where to go she stood at the office door for a good fifteen minutes before she had decided that moving around would be better and even that too was proving difficult walking around the pack ground.

Nalani realized she would have to head back and ask him for a guide or better still request he showed her where she ought to be for her stay in the pack house. no one paid attention to her as she struggled with her bag and looked around for anything mildly familiar she cursed the alpha in different languages she felt were appropriate for his kind of person she was still struggling to get up the stairs when she saw the girl from before who came to escort her out of the cells looking up close at her she could see a few things her eyes had skipped before this girl shared similarities to the beta wolf Lane the girl seemed to be reading Nalani just the same way. Nalani was reading her with curiosity and contemplation

"you are back here again healer" she finally spoke

"and you are standing in my path we must both help each other by you moving out of my path" Nalani spoke

"you have a tongue that doesn't fit the feature your body percids healer in as much as I would love for you to continue roaming the halls, I have gotten bored of seeing you make a fool of yourself "she replied

"you've been watching me roam the halls all this while and you didn't say anything " Nalani replied frustrated

"yes for a while it was fun then it got dumb, you really do not notice much then" she spoke again moving down the stairs she lifted her hands in a greet-like gesture .. "Names Adela"

"Adela," Nalani asked surprised and Adela rolled her eyes in content

"yes my parent thought it okay to name me after a plant with great strength", she rolled her eyes in amusement

"hmmm" Nalani muttered

"do you want to know where your room is or would you rather be staring me down all evening I can do either "Adela spoke

Nalani stared at Adela and measured her up she could take her right she was a foot taller than Adele and she hoped for her sake she had more strength. Nodding in agreement she filled Adela up the stairs I'm quick movement Adela was right perhaps she was slow and would not pick up some things but she definitely would pick this up this part of the pack house was nothing like the rest it was more can't better be spaced and looked almost surreal surely they do not keep the omega at this side of the pack building. The more they moved the bigger the doors got feeling uneasy Nalani spoke ...…..

"where are we going? Exactly" Nalani asked

"We are almost there less talking and we will be there now shhh" Adela caught her off stopping at a wooden door it looked so beautiful and nothing like Nalani had ever seen something was off and Adela dodging her question certainly proves that she knew what it was walking into the room she was amazed at what she saw this was no cottage room it looked so beautiful al futuristic wit touch of classic it truly was a dream room but why was she being given their room she is a prisoner suspected of murder even though nothing points to her she is still yet to be proven otherwise looking at Adele she could see the gleam in her eyes she wanted the approval of the room truly it was beautiful perfect even too beautiful for someone like her ...…" where are we Adela she asked with authority"

"We are in the west wing" Adela spoke lowly

Nalani knew that was not all she still has something to say just above her tongue starting intently at Adela she felt a strong pull leave her body slowly looking directly at the mirror she gasped her eyes were blue and no irises could be seen yet she could see perfectly what was happening to her she thought in panic.

Adela looked almost in a trans like state as her eyes looked directly at Nalani she could not move her body and she felt the need to obey the command of the healer Adela could not understand it she was of beta blood a great linage of strong warriors who fought alongside the alpha the only control she could obey was the alphas but yet here she was compiled to her toes as her brain and her lips struggled for power this healer was not ordinary and this proves it further her brother Lane had given little to no information about the girl only to watch her at all times a baby sitter for the healer, oh how pitiful she watched her lips betray her as she gave Nalani the whole truth about the room and that the alpha was the door away from hers Oliver would have her neck by the end of the day the girl seemed shaped up by the news so much so she could feel whatever spell she had done lessen its hold Adela broke free of it's chains as she could feel her legs give her back control deciding to ignore Nalani for the meantime to allow her sink the new information, in.

"you are in the west wing it's the wing where the alpha resides and his private quarters when he sleeps at the pack house which is most of the time he had instructed you be brought here so you would think twice of escaping... "  Nalani looked at the carpet in its blush pink color everything that had happened so far must have had to be the worst she knew the ghost was bad luck this finally proves it now Adela knew of one of her many secrets she had used it on her mother a few times as a child growing up subduing their aura and weakening their minds in order to do her bidding she never knew how it happens only that the fact was she always got what she needed at that point. She knew she would gave to spark with Adela in order to explain to her whatever just happened the story would need to be very precise and cooked up accurately dropping her bag on the bed she explored the room it was nothing like the cottage with three doors in the room she went exploring owning the first door it was empty fine wood polished to a shin lined the walks she believed them to be where she us too place her clothes and shoes. Could someone ever truly have this much ornaments she wondered.

opening the second door it seemed to be more of a personal space it gave a romantic  feel two chairs faced each other a table of fine wood displayed in the middle the view of the kingdom could be seen for miles on end and at the far end seemed to be a drawer with empty spaces this could house all her spices and herbs she thought aloud in glee. No!!! she could not have a liking for the room it truly is beautiful but a cage was still a cage no matter how pretty it was decorated never the less and this bird wanted to be free to sing to her heart's content it would take more than a beautiful, room to convince her otherwise she scoffed opening the third door it was as she thought a bathroom with all the modern-day equipment walking in she studied the tub was this also for bathing she thought aloud standing straight she walked further into the room this would be difficult she thought glancing at all the fancy wheels that would control the water she guessed trying on the first button she saw she watched as water dropped from the faucet slowly she smiled in triumph deciding to turn the second wheel she watched as the tub turned on slowly amazed by the actions she pressed the last switch water from all directions,  poured at her as she screamed in panic and fear turning all the wheels the water poured harder she screamed for help as she got soaked fully....

It was official she hated the room….
