A MOTHER-DAUGHTER

Adrianne spent her time inside her room. She got busy with organizing the things that were poorly placed in the cabinet. Rolling her eyes, Adrianne took a deep sigh while looking around. It has been hours since she and Iris went for a walk, earlier.

"Adrianne! It's already lunchtime. Won't you eat?" Hearing a loud voice outside, Adrianne placed the clothes she was carrying, on top of her bed.

Looking at the clock hanging on her wall, her forehead creased as it was already 12 pm. 'Was time really this fast for her to not notice that it was already lunchtime?"

Shrugging her shoulder as an answer, Adrianne silently stood up from the bed and went outside. Iris greeted Adrianne with a huge smile lingering on her face.

"Good afternoon, Miss Pretty!"

"Hi Sweetie, what took you so long?" Iris asked in curiosity as the little girl took quiet some time before opening her door.
