Suddenly Eric got some memories about the fact that they need some materials from demonic beasts to create pills or to create artifacts.

It seemed that he had to go to the crescent city to get those materials so for now he just let the two of them cultivate.

Later on the day, Sara and Nash came back with the news that the city would start giving more funds to the orphanage.

Eric also told Sara that he would go to Crescent city with her so he had to leave his job. A week passed by with Sara explaining all of the things that had happened to her over the year.

It was time again for everyone in the entire city to start gathering in the center for everyone aged 10 to get tested. Once again, there were lines of people waiting to get tested and hoping to change their lives and the lives of their family members.

One by one, kids stepped up to touch the crystal ball but until the very last kid, the crystal never reacted. No one passed the test this year and Eric had to quickly say goodbye to the orphanage to leave for Crescent City.

While going towards the city, Eric asked Sara a few questions about professions, "How much are pills and artifacts worth?"

"It all depends on different effects but usually 1 Star Low Level costs 50 silver, 1 Star Medium Level costs 1 gold, and 1 Star High Level costs 50 gold."

"They make so much money!"

"Well, both alchemists and forging masters are very rare. Even in our own sect, we only have one high-level alchemist and only a couple of medium-level forging masters."
