Unexpected Growth

"Training?" James inquired clearly in a state of perplexity because of Charles's words

"Yes, training" Charles repeated before disappearing into one of the many rooms the house provided. He wasn't really looking forward to training or using his powers against anyone who wasn't his father. His childhood trauma still haunted him. And he needed a lot of conviction to even be able to put his ability to use.

Charles's words had surprised him, but he hadn't really asked the man what sort of training he was to undergo. He had been joining in from time to time in Justin's combat training, but he never really lasted long. His physical capabilities weren't very impressive, and his stamina was considerably low.

He obeyed Charles and changed into a more flexible attire before heading out towards the open field to wait for his teacher.
