The Siege Part 2

Mors started to run backward as he shoots his arrows at the charging Naga leader. The Naga leader easily blocks the rain of arrows with his multiple arms. The Naga leader has been in enough battles to know to never let his guard down. Even when fighting someone clearly weaker than him.

Mors notice that his continued barrage of arrows will do nothing to the enemy, it would eat away at his Qi reserve. Mors put away the bow as he started to run at top speed. Dodging the branches of the nearby trees and their thick roots.

Even if the Naga is stronger than Mors, maybe a whole stage above him. The difference between having legs and a tail are as clear as night and day. The Naga even at its top speed could not catch up to Mors. Mors breaks free from the jungle; the heavy tree foliage blocks the Naga's vision.

30 seconds after was when the Naga finally broke from the jungle and arrive at the beach. What greeted him is an army of ghosts. In the distance, a large Ghost ship is floating in the crystal-clear waters. But the Kraken did not feel fear or anxiety.

For in front of him was not a single person that is stronger than he or of similar strength.

"Green Count! It's an honor to finally meet the strongest Naga on this island!"

"Ha! Little Ghost today will be your last day in this earth. Today you will regret reveling against the Jungle Nagas!"

"Is that so dear Kraken?"

"Kraken?" Mors could not help but repeat what he heard. Confusion was written all over his face, not like the Ghost could see it. Mors soon heard cannon fire. As large chunks of ice flew over the Ghost army. The Kraken could not believe his eyes as he started to shield his body with strange black color energy.

The large chunks of ice landed around the Naga general vicinity. The cold energy inside the ice chunks started to spread. Beating the natural heat that hits this island. A large white mist spread on the surrounding areas. But it soon got blown away by the heavy winds.

The Kraken looks a bit different from before. His scales now have ice growing on them. His breaths have become visible and shallow. Dark and omnibus energy floated around the Naga leader. Mors and Catox felt it, the Naga leader has become weaker.

Even a general stage cultivator could not go against the very nature of his race.

"It sure sucks to be cold-blooded."

Mors said to no one other than himself as he takes out a red color sword from nowhere. He rushes to the Naga leader as more chucks of ice shoot from the Ghost ship. The Naga leaders' eyes widen as he saw Mors rushing towards him.

'Is he insane!? Wait.. Now that look at his clothing! He is not a Ghost but an Other Worlder!"

Green Count screams in his own mind as he covers his body in Death magic. The Chunks of ice exploded closer to him this time around. Mors was also consumed by the explosion. Mist covers the Naga leader's eyes for a few seconds, as with his sharp senses he felt a sword coming towards his neck.

"Not so fast!"

He said as he blocks the sword attack with his left hand. But the sword attack felt rather weak.

'Wai-'

Boom!

His thoughts could not catch up as he felt the force of god hit his left side. His ice cover scales broke apart as blood started to flow. It became harder for the Naga leader to regulate his own body temperature.

"Begone!"

The Naga scream as he made his magic explode. A corrosive wind of the black death spread from him. Eating away at the sand and nature around him. It thankfully did not reach the Ghost.

"Second Death!"

One of the Ghost screams out for Mors.

"I am fine! Don't worry!"

Mors said as the mist around him and the Naga clear up. Mors seems to be fine; he seems to have dodged the attack by a hair's breadth.

"That sure was a dangerous att-"

"Green Count! We have arrived!"

From the jungle came out countless Nagas and ghosts. Some of them looked at their wounded leader with widened eyes. But soon their eyes focus on the Other Worlder that seems to be fighting their leader. The two armies are finally facing each other.

"What are you waiting for cowards!? Charge!"

"Charge!"

The Naga priest orders the troops as the Naga started to rush towards Mors.

"Well guess this is where the real battle starts!"

Mors scream in excitement as he made countless copies of himself appear to meet the Nagas in battle.

"Ghost! Protect Second Death!"

Catox said to his own army as they rush towards the Naga army. The two forces meet in the middle of the beach. As blue spoke covers the battlefield. Blood, scales, and bone started to decorate the once-clean beach. The Naga priest follow by the conduits started to chant something together.

They gather mythical black smoke in a large ball above their heads. Their arms pointed to the sky like they were holding the ball.

Wush!

The sound of a sword being swung could be heard. The Naga conduits and the priest could not believe what they saw. A Naga conduit had its head cut off! Not by a Ghost but a grey copy of Mors!

"Shit!"

The Naga did not believe what he saw. He did not believe that in the middle of this large battle, Mors still have opportunities to summon copies of himself!

"Back awa-"

But before the Priest could speak, two copies appear in front of him. Ready to end his life. Only by breaking the concentration of the spell and attacking the copies was he able to survive. The Naga priest started to realize that maybe going out of the city was a bad move.
