The Party Part 1

The party started as Heng finish his long speech. A glass of red color wine in his right hand. He spoke from the table of honor, the largest table at the party.

"Thank you all for joining the party! Today we celebrate the miracle that it's the young lady of the Wu clan gaining her talents back as well as her achievements in stopping a new form of old-world corruption! A true cultivator blessed by the Celestial Dragon!"

With a loud cheer and the thunderous applause of the attendees, Zhihui raises her hand to let herself be known as well as to acknowledge the praise of the people. As the applause and praise slowly die down, Heng gives the final touches to his speech.

"Now please enjoy the party to your heart contents, after so many days of fighting monsters we all deserve it!"

Heng said the final words and in seconds voices spread across the room as the couple, Mors and Zhihui started to get surrounded by people. Mors is slowly pushed to the side as Zhihui is surrounded by mortal merchants, Heng disciples, and other important members of the city of Hamju.

Zhihui tries her best to answer all of their questions and form connections with so many people. The merchants ask her about the latest's trends in the cultivator world, hoping to get some quick cash as well as talking about how talented their offspring they are.

She will answer these mortals with a soft smile, keeping her answers vague and mysterious. She did not care about the kids of these merchants, as none of their names ring any bells for her, meaning they are not important in the future. Heng's disciples, on the other hand, were trying to get tips in mythical arts from her.

Her clan is famous for producing strong mythical users. Heng might be their teacher, but he is not that good or talented with mythical arts. Zhihui was more than happy to answer their questions and give them tips. Forming a good relationship with them will be beneficial, but she gave extra attention to the future head of the Xia Clan.

Gaining the favor of a future clan head will prove to be beneficial for her plans. As she does this, an alone Mors was busy grabbing some food and alcohol for himself and Zhihui. This might be an important event she foresaw with her future knowledge, so it's best to be quiet and support her.

As he grabs a plate and puts in some simple dishes, he catches the attention of an old man. Cripple from the waist down and moving around in a wheelchair. A young-looking man accompanies the man. The old man's experience eyes look at Mors for a few seconds, making Mors feel a bit awkward as he looks at the man and speaks.

"Hello there gramps, need something?"

Mors said, thinking maybe the old man wanted to get some food. But the old man shakes his head as he shows off his hand to Mors, looking for a handshake. One that Mors happily takes as the old man spoke.

"Hello there young man, I could not help but notice that you are not from around this parts. Where do you come from?"

The old man said, asking the type of question you should not really be asking when first meeting someone. The young man next to him becomes panicked as he talks to the old man.

"Grandfather you cant say things like that! This man is a cultivator!"

"Hah, well you got it, right gramps, I am not from this region or area"

"I knew it, are you from the Sand Region?"

Mor's stops for a second to think about how he should answer this question, whatever answer he gives to this old man will be his background for a long time. As such he needs to pick a region that will make the most sense, sadly for him, he did not know much about the other regions. Other than the Sand region might be similar to middle eastern cultures.

"Yes I am, are you from that region gramps?"

"Me? Haha no, my bones can't handle that heat. But I am a collector of artifacts and I recently got myself something from the Sand regions and I was wondering if you can come over to my place and check it out. The supplier did not what it was only that it was expensive and from the Sand Regions"

"Um….Sure thing, but it has been a long time seen I have been to my place of birth so I might not know exactly what it is, only a general idea."

"Hahah more than enough for me! You probably know more than I do, anyway I will leave you to your food. Follow me kiddo"

"ah…yes grandfather"

The young man said as he follow the old man towards a group of other old men, Mors could not help but pray for the young man. God knows how it must feel to listing to old people's conversations. Mors returns his attention to the food in front of him as he gets himself some more snacks and food. Making a mental note to check the old man's house…wait how will he-

But before he can finish that train of thought the young man came back as he handed Mors a note, with his address and the time he can arrive. Mors smiles as he nods his head to the young man.

"Good luck"

"Thanks"

With a simple sentence, the two separate as Mors goes towards Zhihui. Plates in his hand as he sees Zhihui talking with a young woman. The woman has Green short hair and a petite body type. With bright green eyes. She is speaking with Zhihui with great excitement, as Mors gets closer. Zhihui smiles at him as she grabs some of the food, a bit hungry.

The green hair woman looks at Mors with cold, as she sees him as a stranger entering a conversation unrelated to him.

"Excuse me we are having a talk here"

"Well you are talking to my wife, I just came here to give her some food"

Zhihui blushes a bit at being called wife but nods along as she eats some of the sweats Mors brought out for her. The green hair woman, with wide eyes, looks at Zhihui.

"Wow! You already got married?! Amazing! Now tell me more of the monsters you fought"

"Can you give me a second to eat please? Plus I don't know every little detail of the monsters I kill"

Mors easily understood what they were talking about, wanting to give his wife a small break. He speaks to the green hair woman

"If it details on monsters I am your guy, you could say I have a monster encyclopedia in my brain"

Mors said pointing at his head as the green hair woman looks at his with doubtful eyes
