Meredith couldn't forget what she encountered earlier. She was still shocked at how she was able to resist him after that brutal temptation. She was just at the edge of giving herself to him again when the phone call interrupted.
She kept wondering what would've happened if his phone hadn't rung. She was already wet down there. Fuck, she wanted him. She was really on thin ice with him.
After he drifted from her, he picked up the phone call right in front of her.
"I'll be right there".
That was the only thing he said when he broke the stare and walked back to the table. He picked up the pen and sighed the papers before exiting the room like a few seconds ago never happened. He didn't even stare a glance at her when he dashed out.
She remained in the tub feeling like shit, longing for him like she didn't have a purpose in life except that.
Pull yourself together woman.
Her black hair was wet from the scented water and her skin was flushed from desire. Her yellow skin glowed like a pearl and her beautiful green eyes were closed. She fumed with longing.
The knock on the door took her completely unaware as the head maid stepped in with a letter in her grip. It was in a black envelope.
"What does the letter in your hand say?"
Meredith asked with her eyes closed and her head relaxed backward.
"It is a letter from Mr. mark, ma'am". She started.
"And what does it say, you Buffalo".
" u-um, it says,
Dear, Meredith Alviero Ross,
It is a privilege to be granted the opportunity to be the host of the traditional Ross mask gala. I look forward to meeting you there.
Sincerely, Mark Ross.
"Hmph, he is a loyal rat after all". Meredith muttered.
"Get lost, Soledad". She concluded.
She had been in a very bad mood ever since Anthony left.

The pink Lamborghini arrived right in front of the club and Genevieve stepped down. She didn't even waste any more time as she stepped down, threw her keys to one of the bouncers, and dashed right into the club.
Her eyes strolled around the large room filled with people as she tried to find the person she searched for. She didn't even know where to start because the place was packed and filled with people dancing.
"Argh, damn you liyah".
She muttered as she pushed through the crowd with a disgusted look on her face.
"Why the hell are there so many people today?"
Her complaints were barely heard as she talked to herself. It was so damned loud in there. She couldn't even hear herself as she spoke.
She finally got to the counter and sat on a sit with that look still on her face. Her eyes strolled to the bartender that backed her and was totally focused on what he was doing back there.
"Hey!" She called him with the loudest voice she could gather but it was all futile because he didn't even turn a glance.
"Hey, you". She called again and got the same attitude from him.
Fuck!
She was getting really impatient and furious at the same time. Her fingers danced impatiently as her eyes strolled around and traced to a cola lid just beside her as she picked it up and aimed at his head.
Well, that got him.
Gold shot!
He turned his head immediately to where the attack came from as his eyes strolled to the lady in black. He was lost in a trance for a moment there. This woman might just be the most beautiful person he had come across in the day.
"Hi, what can I get you?"
He had completely forgotten about what she did to him. All his attention was now on the woman before him with the sexiest lips he had ever seen.
"Um, I'm looking for a lady".
He raised his brow in question to her words in a 'you're gay?' Sort of way.
"Oh, no, no, it's not what you think".
She quickly understood and cleared the misunderstanding.
He smiled as she continued explaining in the cutest way he had ever seen.
"A friend of mine is here and is sort of wasted, so..."
He nodded.
"I completely understand, but you can't just ask questions without ordering anything".
She rolled her eyes at his words and his grin widened in the sexiest way. She noted.
Earlier when she came in, her only aim was to get aliyah out and take her home. But right now, the man in front of her was smoking hot. How didn't she notice this before?
"So, what can I get you?"
He asked most adorably.
"Umm, white wine?" She wasn't quite certain of what she wanted and he found it cute.
"You've never been here before".
It didn't seem like he was asking a question, it was as if he was certain.
"How would you know?"
Her eyes were on him as she watched him pour the liquid into a glass filled with ice and added a little lemon as a topping.
"Well, for starters, you don't look like you like to socialize".
She raised a brow to his words in a 'really?' type of way.
"And secondly, you picked the wrong drink".
This got a smile from her.
"Hmmm". She took a sip of the wine and continued. Her eyes were still fixed on him as she set the glass on the counter.
"Do you normally predict people by the way they look?"
His eyes were on her as he watched her take a sip of the wine in the most relevant way he had ever seen.
"Well, excuse me for judging based on your appearance, but you are drop-dead gorgeous".
Her eyes never left his face. This is the first guy that has ever been this bold and flirtatious at the same time while talking to her. He was quite interesting to her.
"So you don't think a drop-dead gorgeous lady can go to a club without getting wasted?"
"No, I think your presence requires special treatment... Your drink is on the house".
He smirked and she grinned. It was a quick flash of her teeth that was quickly gone but he got a glimpse of it.
"Wow... You are good with your words". She muttered.
" And I meant every single one of them, you're really pretty".
"I know". She said deadpan. "Now, can I get the information I need?"
He smiled shaking his head. He had never met a woman like this before. She was different from every other woman he had come across.
"A deal's a deal, I guess... first of all, what color of cloth does she have on her?
He went straight to the point.
"I don't know, but she goes by the name Aliyah Zucchini".
His eyes opened wide in shock.
"She's the one you're looking for?"
She nodded.
He couldn't believe it. He was a little bit surprised that a friend of Aliyah Zucchini just spoke to him
"Um... Wow... She's at the V.I.P private section".
Genevieve only nodded as she took the last sip of the wine and stood up.
"Fuck you". was the only thing she said when she dashed away without looking back.
She walked into the room with music playing and dim light. Aliyah was already long gone when she got there. She was sleeping like a wet log.
"Damn, liyah".

Maria took the long stairs to the ballroom as she saw the man she was searching for. She was putting on a mask to secure her identity— it was a mask party, so heirs and heiresses of wealth went to the party too. Their privacies were secure, all the more reason why they didn't mind mingling. Behold, in the midst of all of the wealthy, dwelled the wealthiest— the golden price of all the attendees of the party.
The information was leaked secretly amongst them that he was going to be there, and they all anticipated his presence.
Klaus and Tiger were in the room large room also. Their eyes were on the dark man but also themselves.
"You look good".
Klaus whispered into his ear as he gave him a glass of champagne he took from the waiter.
He chuckled at his words as his eyes strolled around the room.
"You already said that at home".
"And I won't stop speaking proudly of how hot my baby is".
Tiger's face was starting to get flushed as his man spoke.
"Let's just get this party over with already".
The grin on Klaus's face was evident as Maria walked their way and stood before them.
"It has been done, Mr. Herdes, I made sure the letter was delivered to her".
She directed her words to Tiger as she spoke.
" Good job, Maria".
Klaus raised a brow to him in question.
"What did you do?"
Tiger didn't utter a word. The mischievous smile on his face alone had already told Klaus what he needed to know.
The only time Tyler herdes smiles in that way is when he has something big planned.
