Why the hell will Genevieve call him?
What exactly does she want from him?
"Can we meet? I have something very important to talk to you about". Klaus was beyond shocked. He had never liked her. He knew that she was nothing but trouble and the only reason why she had called him right now was for Nicholas. He is the very and only important thing she could ever talk about. To her, he is her biggest challenge. She is rather obsessed with him.
"I'm not in the country at the moment, miss Middleton". His eyes went to Tiger that never stopped looking at him. There was confusion in them. He turned around backing him this time as he walked away from him, leaving him even more confused. Tiger walked up to him and stood behind him.
"It's really urgent, Mr. Alejandro". Her voice was fierce and low. She sounded desperate but didn't want to show it. She didn't want him to know what she had planned to tell him on the phone. She knows that he is one of Nicholas's most trusted, and he surely knows where Nicholas is. She knows that he would never tell her the location of Nicholas so, she came professionally to him knowing that he would not be able to refuse her when it is business.
"I'm afraid you'll have to wait, can you do that miss Middleton?" His voice was stern. It was evident that he wasn't fond of her. He never liked her from the start and he never will. She is such a devious and cunning lady that feels like she could always get what she wants— actually, she could but not Nicholas. He is the only thing she can't seem to get no matter how hard she tried. Yes, she is one of the rarest beauties but she is also one of the most toxic people too. She really can't be messed with.
"As long as I have your word, Mr. Alejandro".
The line was disconnected immediately after she uttered those words. Klaus turned to a curious and confused man as he shook his head. Whenever he makes that move, it means that things had gone completely bizarre.
"That's not good". Tiger muttered.
He nodded as he walked to him. "I don't know what she wants but I have a feeling that it has something to do with Nicholas". Tiger rolled his eyes on hearing her supposed plan.
"Obviously". His voice was low and calm. They both weren't looking happy at all. The bubble they were in had been popped and they were now back to their defense mode. Tiger was furious and Klaus noticed. He wanted to say something but was called off by the buzzing sound.
'Buzzz, buzzz'.
He walked towards the pure white table where the sound came from and picked it up.
"Hey sweetie, how are ya". The female voice called from the other end of the line. He furrowed his brows and looked at the screen of the phone just to be sure who was calling him.
"Aliyah?" On the call of her name, Klaus turned to face him. They both looked at each other as she spoke to him.
ALIYAH ZUCCHINI- Tiger's girlfriend, CEO of fast lane express, filthy rich billionaire, Sassy and rude as hell, obsessed with Tiger.
"Did you miss me?" She sounded really excited. It was as if she was already there— that was how excited she sounded. "I've missed you so much baby, I can't wait to come home". There was so much love in her voice as she spoke.
Tiger was confused and in shock. His eyes stayed on Klaus's eyes as they gradually widened.
Fuck I have a girlfriend.
How did I forget that?
Shit! Did I forget about that?
His eyes had guilt written all over them as he walked to him. How could he have been so occupied in getting him that he forgot about his own fucked up life before this man became his number one priority?
"Alright, I'll see you when I arrive, okay? I love you". She didn't even wait for him to respond to any of her questions, she just spoke and spoke and ended the call— see what I meant by rude? Just as the call ended, he was right in front of Klaus. His boyfriend had the 'you're not telling me something' look on. The closer he moved to him, the more he surrendered.
"Who's Aliyah?" He asked without hesitation. His attention was now fully on him. He gave him one hundred percent of his focus now. Nothing was going to make him stop loving him and feeling this way about him.
Those questions didn't come as a surprise to him at all. He knew that he was going to definitely ask about the call since aliyah was mentioned. He loved that he was giving all his attention to him.
"She is um, m-my um, my girlfriend". He stuttered. He completely lost control of his composure. Something in him feared for this relationship was the only real thing in his entire life. Gradually, Klaus had grown to become his life. Klaus is his life.
Slowly, he watched the color on the skin of his man disintegrate. He couldn't believe it. He saw the look on his face, from curious to disappointed.
"You have a girlfriend?" He looked grim. He wasn't even in the mood to accommodate any form of a smile at the moment. "W-when, how, why, w-what?" He couldn't even make out the words to say to him.
Tiger took his hands in his as he called him out of his anxiety. He had never seen him this disappointed before. "Hey, hey, listen. It was before I met you, babe".
"W-what? Why didn't you tell me?" Klaus's eyes were on his as he spoke. He didn't want to lose the only thing that made him whole, the only man that completed his life without even trying hard.
"She was not important to me so, I didn't even remember her, not until now". He had never been this sincere with anyone in his life. This man had so effortlessly become the most important thing in his life. So important that he didn't care about anything and anyone else.
Klaus turned away from him and was now backing him. He couldn't believe his baby was not only his, he couldn't believe he was sharing the love of his life with someone else. Immediately after he made that move, Tiger was in front of him. He looked into the eyes of the man that he is madly in love with and he saw it all. He saw the sadness, the fear, the restraint. He saw his man in his vulnerable state and all his senses fired up. His heart stopped at the sight in front of him. Was this how he felt?
"Baby, look at me. Hey, look at me, you are the only thing that matter to me. Nothing else matters babe, just you". He assured. He didn't want a situation where someone else would cause a problem that wasn't even serious.
Klaus looked at him blankly as he spoke. He didn't even know how to feel at this point. "She's still in your life". He pointed out.
"Not for long baby, I promise. I'll tell her straight up and end things with her". He moved closer and closer until he was just an inch away from him. "She is the past now". He smiled and touched his lips on him lightly. "You are my present". With that being said, Klaus pulled him closer and deepened the kiss, devouring his mouth.

Zhavia watched him walk toward her and her soul left her body. She felt her breath weaken to the pace at which he took. Every single step he made towards her left her paralyzed.
"There's no need to act like you want to eat with me when you clearly do not". His deep voice registered in her brain and his scent drove her to mercury. His eyes were on hers as he spoke. This feeling had been eating her up slowly. She had clearly lost her state of mind to this man. "I can make you do so many things, but I certainly will not forcefully make you do what doesn't please you". His voice echoed in the large room.
"Besides, I have just lost interest in this food". His eyes didn't leave her face as he spoke. It surveyed her for a while, then it left her as he turned around and started walking away towards the elevator.
"Wait, I....".
"Bennett will bring a phone to you". He didn't even allow her complete her words as he exited the room. She watched him walk away. He didn't look back, he didn't even want to look at her face. She saw the anger in his eyes. She couldn't believe she had just thrown away the moment she had been anticipating for hours away.
What are you doing, zhavia?
It's a good thing he left but why am I feeling so bad all of a sudden?
Come back to your senses zhavia, he's gone now.
Shit! I screwed up.
