THE TWIN ROSE GOLD

Inside and outside the palace, everyone in Grinia celebrated the coronation of the Crown Princess today.

The party was held in two locations because the royal family didn't want to take the risk of letting commoners into the palace. There were many distinguished guests from other kingdoms as well as noble families, so they decided to close the gates even on this auspicious day.

However, King Gerold had ordered his secretary to make the same lavish feast both outside and inside the palace. The king even ordered that the food served at the two locations should be the same.

In that way, King Gerold wanted to prove to his people that he loved his people as much as he respected the honorable guests of the palace.

The party venue within the palace was in the vicinity of the Palace Hall. The Palace Hall was a large building located in the center of Grinia's palace. Surrounded by flower gardens as well as fish ponds, the area around the Hall looked like a scene in a fairy tale.

The flowers were blooming, and so many butterflies were flying above them. The sun wasn't too dazzling because it was already afternoon, and the atmosphere was just right.

Elennora was walking with his mother. Queen Richenza was so stern with what she had said, and when she said that she would not let her son return to his palace, she really meant it.

In the end, the pink-haired Queen escorted the Crown Princess back to the party location.

When the beautiful Crown Princess arrived, all eyes were on him. He had just been announced as the first Crown Princess of Grinia, and he was like the star of today's party.

They smiled and greeted him, and the Crown Princess smiled back elegantly. His mother had told him how to behave in public. He couldn't look coy, but he couldn't look arrogant either.

Every step he took had to be decisive, and he had to lift his chin as he continued to walk past the distinguished guests of today's event. Until finally, the mother and son pair arrived at King Gerold's side.

The king welcomed them with a big smile on his face.

"You two look like twins," he commented as the two stood beside him.

"The King of Grinia is indeed lucky. He has a beautiful wife that anyone can fight for, and his daughter is very much like his wife. Very lucky to have twin rose gold here," one of the Kings who was talking to King Gerold suddenly chimed in.

Queen Richenza and Crown Princess Elennora had earned the nickname 'Twin Rose Golds' because they both had shiny and beautiful pink hair. It was uncertain who coined the nickname for the first time, but the nickname was popular even outside the kingdom until today.

"I am indeed lucky, but these two rose golds can also be scary at times, especially the older rose gold," replied King Gerold while glancing at his wife in a teasing manner.

The blonde King was joking at a time like this, and the other Kings burst into laughter at the King's joke.

"Oh, I thought you said that your daughter wasn't feeling well earlier, King Gerold. Maybe she shouldn't force herself to join the party if she isn't feeling well," this time, it was King Ludwig of the Slovia kingdom who chimed in.

The King must remember how King Gerold had excused himself to check on his daughter's condition after the ceremony ended today, and perhaps he was worried because the King looked a little anxious when they were still on the balcony earlier.

Hearing King Ludwig's question, King Gerold glanced at his son. In other people's eyes, Elennora was his daughter, a girl with a rather thin body who looked fragile.

However, Elennora was actually his son, and King Gerold knew that his son was strong and would not get sick easily. He might not be a good father to his son, but in truth, he really loved his son.

"Thank you for your concern, Your Majesty," Elennora finally let his voice hit people's ears. "Maybe I was just tired earlier, but after resting for a few minutes, I'm fine again now."

Elennora might be a boy, but his voice wasn't as deep as the other boys. Thus, one would not feel suspicious of him even after hearing him speak.

And actually, what he said just now was just a lie. He did want to rest in his palace instead of joining the party, but his mother didn't let him rest in peace even for just one minute.

His head still felt dizzy, but he tried to hold it in because he didn't want to embarrass himself in front of the other Kings.

"The Crown Princess is not only beautiful, but she is polite and intelligent. I wonder if Her Highness the Crown Princess already has someone in her heart," King Ludwig suddenly teased the pink-haired Crown Princess, causing the Crown Princess to flinch a little.
