Levan knew that he had crossed the line by saying that kind of thing right in front of Elennora, and Elennora was widening his eyes at him now.
"What do you mean my mother has bad intentions for me?" Elennora asked as he pulled Levan's hand away from his cheek. "I know my mom scolds me a lot, and I also know that she can be cold to me sometimes too, but how can you tell that my mom has bad intentions for me?"
Now, Levan was squirming uncomfortably in bed after hearing Elennora's question. It was his fault because he was the first to bring up the topic of Queen Richenza having bad intentions for Elennora, and he was being attacked by Elennora's question now.
It did look like an attack, but perhaps Elennora was asking the question simply because he was curious about Levan's opinion.
"Forget what I just said, okay?" Levan finally answered Elennora's question. "I just don't like your mother, so I subconsciously said something like that to you."
