The Crown Prince(ss) [BL]

Born as a baby boy, his parents gave him the name Elennora Nenadovic, a girl’s name. It didn't stop there, they also asked him to wear a dress instead of pants, asked him to grow his pink hair long, and even asked him to put two lumps of cloth on his chest. And worst of all, his parents, the King and the Queen, asked him to become the Crown Princess of Grinia. Even though he knew everything, the eighteen-year-old teenager was still willing to grant his parents' request in order to keep the people of Grinia safe. Therefore, instead of being the Crown Prince, he was known as Crown Princess Elennora of Grinia. Letting his pink hair grow long, wearing a beautiful dress, also tucking the lumps of cloth into his chest. That was something he always did every day. Bearing the title of Crown Princess of Grinia, his people continue to laud and love him. They were even willing to die for the Crown Princess. His life seemed perfect with his title and very high position in the kingdom, but actually, he was just a puppet. The cheerful Elennora turned gloomy even though he would become the first Queen of Grinia in the future. He had to go through cloudy days until he finally met the Crown Prince of the Wrelloven kingdom, Levan Godwinson. Unlike Crown Princess Elennora who had to obey his parents' orders in order to reach the highest throne of Grinia, Crown Prince Levan lived with complete power over himself, and he could ask for anything from his parents and also his people. Who would have thought that his first wish after living for twenty years was to marry Crown Princess Elennora? Will his wish come true when the Crown Princess is actually a Crown Prince just like him? ~~~ Note: the MC (Elennora) is the bottom, while the ML (Levan) is the top. Original cover belongs to me.

A SMALL DOOR AND A RAT

Before leaving the palace, Crown Prince Levan brought the Crown Princess to the building where he was staying. Asking the Crown Princess to wait outside the building, he then entered the building to fetch something.

Elennora waited impatiently for the Crown Prince, but not long after, the Crown Prince came out of the building with something in his hand.

"What's that?" The Crown Princess asked a question curiously.

Crown Prince Levan didn't answer verbally, but he just directly placed the thing on Elennora's body. It turned out to be a robe with a hood, and the Crown Prince even put the hood over the Crown Princess' head.

"You have appeared in front of your people to make vows before, so they must have seen your face. It is better if you cover your head like this, Your Highness."

Crown Prince Levan was very wise. Elennora did know that a taller man would take him out of the palace today, but he didn't think about disguising himself properly. Secretly, he admired the Crown Prince for his wise character. 'Just like King Alvon, this Crown Prince is also wise in any circumstances.'

Perhaps Crown Princess Elennora had forgotten when he thought that Crown Prince Levan was unfit to be king due to his impolite attitude.

"Then, how about you? You don't want to disguise yourself too?" The Crown Princess asked while looking intently at the Crown Prince.

Hearing the question, Levan suddenly cackled. "Do you think I should conceal myself, Your Highness? You could even mistake me for a servant, so your people out there would probably do the same."

The pink-haired Crown Princess could feel his face getting warmer after hearing Crown Prince Levan's answer. The Crown Prince once again brought up the misunderstanding, and he was embarrassed once again.

"We'd better not waste our time. Let's go," trying to cover up his embarrassment, Elennora turned around and motioned for the Crown Prince to follow him.

Chuckling, Levan followed the shorter figure, but then he teased the person once again, "Do you know the way to the secret passage, Your Highness?"

Elennora immediately stopped in his tracks, causing Levan to stop swinging his legs as well. It seemed that Elennora only realized that he was walking in front of the Crown Prince when he didn't even know the location of the secret passage.

It was because he used to walk in front of his people. His maid usually followed him from behind, and that was why he could casually walk in front of the taller man.

Crown Prince Levan wasn't even his subject, but he treated the man as his subject. Embarrassed, Crown Princess Elennora stepped aside to let the Crown Prince stand beside him.

The Crown Prince giggled before taking a step forward so they were standing side by side now. Both of them held the status of being the next rulers of their kingdoms, so naturally, they had the same status now. It was only normal if they walked side by side because of their status.

"I'll show you the way, Your Highness. Let's go," Crown Prince Levan finally led the way like a gentleman.

He didn't abandon the Crown Princess, and instead, he kept his pace so that the Crown Princess didn't have to walk too fast.

"I am curious about one thing, Your Highness," Crown Prince Levan broke the silence as they continued to walk in a direction. "Why did the King of Grinia forbid the people in the palace from running?"

It turned out that Crown Prince Levan was still bothered by the rule. Even if it was yesterday when Elennora told him about the rule, he was still curious about the reason behind the rule.

"It's because I hurt myself when I played with my maid when I was little. I ran when she wanted to catch me, and I fell to the ground. My knee was bleeding, and my father was angry," replied Elennora without looking at the Crown Prince.

The Crown Prince nodded in understanding. "Did the King punish the maid then?" He asked again.

"Almost," answered Elennora. "He almost punished the maid if I didn't come to defend her."

Hearing the pink-haired Crown Princess' honest answer, Levan smiled to himself. "So, I made a right judgment of you, Your Highness. I know that you are a soft-hearted person behind your cold face. You don't want to see your subject suffer, and that's how a Crown Princess should be. You deserve your title, Your Highness."

Crown Princess Elennora almost stopped walking when he heard a long speech coming from the Crown Prince. They had only met yesterday, but the Crown Prince seemed to be able to see right through him as if his heart was made of transparent glass. Even his mother had always believed that he was a cold-blooded being, but someone who only knew him yesterday could see that he wasn't that bad.

Once again, Elennora could feel his heart pounding. He didn't even know the reason behind the loud bang in his chest, but he felt warm inside. It felt like something warm was embracing his cold body.

"We are here, Your Highness," Crown Prince Levan suddenly announced, successfully breaking the Crown Princess' thoughts.

Elennora didn't even notice that they had walked long enough, and now they were in the west garden of the palace. He furrowed his brows when he noticed that there was nothing particularly special in the area.

"Where is the secret passage?" He asked impatiently.

Seeing how impatient the Crown Princess was, Crown Prince Levan laughed. "Please wait a moment, Your Highness."

He then left Crown Princess Elennora's side and headed towards the bushes not far from them. He used his hands to pry open the thick bush until finally, a small door attached to the tall fortress greeted Elennora's brown eyes.

"Do you want me to leave the palace using that small door? Do you think I'm a rat?" Elennora immediately raised his voice as soon as he saw the so-called secret passage.
