the investigation

James is back to the scene of the punishment last night. The whole warehouse is full of horrendous smells in the air and the whole scene on the stage revealed the most horrible scene.

They are sleeping from the exhaustion from the live event last night. The drug was worked its charm and made them exhausted to the maximum.

James is telling one of his subordinates to throw a bucket of cold water at the only girl in the group. One of the guards with their tactical uniform get the cold water and throw it to her and everyone around her.

She is gasping for air after getting wet from the cold water. She is sitting up with her naked body.

"Hmmm—"

"How was your live streaming? I hope that you manage to get more subscribers by last night's event," James is standing up in front of her.

"Who are you? Why are you meddling into my business?" Wei Lin is throwing her tantrum and leisurely walk to get something to cover her body.

"You do not need to know about us. Why did you kidnap Madame Gu?" James is asking to the point.

"Who the hell is madame Gu?!"

"The beautiful lady in the market who get abducted by you. By that act, you have awakened the sleeping devil," James informs her while he turns on his cigarette.

"She bullied me in high school and make me the famous porn star online. I want to give her the taste of her own medicine. Now, I have to start over again because of you," Wei Lin is getting hysterical on the side because of her ruined plan.

"Is she? Can you elaborate more?" James is trying to fish some information from her while he told one of the subordinates to investigate the whole story regarding her allegation to the future crown princess.

"I have to offer my sincere gratitude because of her, my time in the high school become really interesting because they make me as the famous high school porn star," Wei Lin is clenching her hand to remember her painful memories.

"Did you mean that she was not the person who was bullying you? She just the collateral damage," James is trying to understand this woman.

James' subordinate comes and reports the whole finding of her background. James is smiling when he is finding a satisfactory answer.

James is going closer to Wei Lin when he is hitting the back of her neck to make her unconscious. As soon as her body falls down to the ground. James told his subordinate to clean up and sold them to the pirate as slaves.

He is going back to the hotel room to report everything to his boss. Arthur is sitting on the bed next to his wife.

James and everyone else can see their henpecked boss is giving his utmost care to his sick wife. Catherine still hooks into the IV on her arm to make sure about all the drugs can be washed out from her body.

"Is everyone here waiting for you?" Catherine is looking around the room which is filled with all Arthur's subordinates. She feels uncomfortable with all their stare at them on the bed.

"You do not need to worry about them. If they irritate you then I will deduct their bonus to make you happy," Arthur is feeding her with the bird nest soup to regain her strength into recovery.

"Your highness! You are too much. I have not slept and closed my eyes for the whole night and you are going to cut my salary and bonus," Joshua is complaining straight away about the injustice that happen in his life.

"Arthur, I am fine. If you have to work, then you can do your work. You do not have to hold everything else for me. I am going to read some book and rest up," Catherine is telling him about her plan, so he did not hold up his daily activity.

"Are you sure? Joshua is your private doctor, and I will hold him accountable if something wrong happens to you," Arthur is giving out the bowl of bird nest to the nurse stand-by on the bedside.

He is giving her a kiss on her head before leaving her alone.
