That night, Mineah threw out a simple feast for Laura and the rest of those who passed the Civil Service Exams. It was held in one of the more spacious pavilions inside the Corvus Palace on the same day Laura was chosen to be the new Minister of Justice. 

"All of you should have fun and enjoy yourself tonight. King Nikolai and I welcome you all to be his officials, and we do hope that you will all take this opportunity to perform and serve with the utmost care and righteousness befitting your stations," Mineah declared as she raised her hand up for a toast. "For the benefit of our citizens and our kingdom, congratulations to you all. We'll be looking forward to working with all of you in the coming days."

"Thank you for your benevolence, your Majesty," those that gathered cheered. "Long live the King and Queen!"
