By the time Calhoun had finally decided to get him and her out of bed with reluctance, Madeline felt like her soul had indeed slipped out of her body and entered heaven. The first three times they made-love she remembered, but after that, she had lost the ability to think. Her body trembled, and her lips left a couple of sighs, cry's of her calling his name over and over again that echoed in their quiet room.
Calhoun had left Madeline more than satisfied. She was floating in the clouds as he carried her into the bath and helped her wash her body that was surprisingly warm even though it was the time of the winter. Spending some more time in the bath, talking to each other before they finally left the room dressed for the day.
The entered the dining room, which was located in another room that was modified to accommodate all the guests with a long table and chairs. People in there had stood up from their seats on the arrival of the King and the Queen to greet them.
