“Nearly three weeks now,” Benjamin replied. “Can’t blame him if he rejects me. Or if he simply never makes his way back to my diner. An eternity is a very long time.”
“An eternity doesn’t have an ending,” Catrina corrected while chuckling lightly before sipping on the sakura tea. Then she placed her cup back down onto the table. “What if he doesn’t consent to become an anchor for you?”
That evening, her hair was tied up in a ponytail with a ribbon that had a silver butterfly and a few dangling bells on it. The bells on her hair tinkled as she moved her head slightly. Its color was a combination of dark green, violet, and orange, and it was curly all the way to the tips. The makeup on Catrina’s face was kept to a bare minimum. Then again, she had flawless skin so she still looked stunning.
