Chapter 26: The Honeymoon

Adam Florenz's POV

After that night we shared for the first time as man and wife, we were ready to take off to Portugal, only this time my parents tagged along for their return to the country.

"Okay, I think we have everything now," my mother said as she was looking around the jet. She had been buying so much stuff that I don't know if we even have space back in our villa in Portugal.

"Mum, don't you think these are too much?" I asked her in Portuguese as she just chuckled at my question.

"Well, of course not, dear. It was never enough," she said before she took a seat beside my father who was reading the newspaper, maybe about the stocks again.

"Hey, so are you going to tell me where we will be going for our honeymoon?" Fauna asked me as I was sitting next to her. She was yawning for the past hours as I smirked at her. She glared at me. She knew what was keeping her last night.

And I loved every second of it.
